Dues artistes i alguns cuiners treballen a partir de la idea de cat\u00e0strofe. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nUna performance un divendres a la nit. Un divendres, el mateix dia que comen\u00e7a un festival urb\u00e0. Avui toquen, entre d&#8217;altres, Saint Etienne, The Go! Team i Arcade Fire. La performance es titula Cooking Catastrophes. Decidir anar a la performance significa que les comparacions seran odioses, que ha de ser molt bona per estar a l&#8217;altura. Significa que existeix una voluntat per creure que al m\u00f3n de l&#8217;art poden passar coses d&#8217;alt voltatge. No sempre \u00e9s aix\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Els previs s\u00f3n bons. No massa informaci\u00f3 sobre qu\u00e8 passar\u00e0, toca apuntar-se via mail ja que no tenen moltes places per al p\u00fablic. El lloc on es desenvolupar\u00e0 la performance \u00e9s suficientment estrany com perqu\u00e8 es generi una situaci\u00f3 interessant: es tracta d&#8217;alguna cosa aix\u00ed com un restaurant \/ local de festes lleugerament atrotinat en un micro-barri problem\u00e0tic damunt d&#8217;una petita muntanya. Evidentment lluny de qualsevol espai art\u00edstic. Micro-barri significa 6 blocs de pisos, una pizzeria amb alcoh\u00f2lics, un ascensor antic que connecta amb la parada de metro m\u00e9s propera, un lloc d&#8217;assist\u00e8ncia per a immigrants i bosc. \u00c9s un punt a favor. Sempre \u00e9s una mica surrealista el moure a persones del m\u00f3n de l&#8217;art fora dels &#8220;seus&#8221; llocs. Apareixen preguntes interessants, gaireb\u00e9 \u00e9s ter\u00e0pia. Per\u00f2 no de grup, encara que de vegades seria oport\u00fa. <\/p>\n<p>Al diari ha sortit una petita nota relacionada amb la performance. No s&#8217;entenia massa. Comentava que cuiners de luxe estarien treballant sobre la idea de cat\u00e0strofe en una performance. Que surti al diari significa que hi ha un bon treball de comunicaci\u00f3 darrere. Tamb\u00e9 significa que a aquest pa\u00eds els suplements culturals als peri\u00f2dics tenen vint planes i es publiquen cada dia.<\/p>\n<p>A l&#8217;arribar al lloc comencen les males sensacions. Segurament ha de ser aix\u00ed. Algunes cadires de pl\u00e0stic en fileres, unes fotos petites de desastres naturals penjades a la paret. Petroliers enfonsant-se i, com no, les torres bessones. No comen\u00e7a puntualment per\u00f2 el p\u00fablic est\u00e0 molt atent. I ordenat. Ara comen\u00e7a. Les artistes, Eva Meyer-Keller i Sybille M\u00fcller ho presenten. Parlen d&#8217;assaig general i al mateix temps, ai no! que \u00e9s l&#8217;estrena. Tamb\u00e9 diuen que un dels cuiners est\u00e0 malalt i que el substituiran. Davant de les cadires, molt a prop, hi ha algunes taules repartides amb coses a mig preparar. Bastant de pre-tecnologia, aqu\u00ed unes muntanyes fetes de xocolata per\u00f2 amb paper de diari sota, aqu\u00ed una superf\u00edcie de color negre, aqu\u00ed una copa de cristall. <\/p>\n<p>Comen\u00e7a de deb\u00f2, i alguna cosa indica que el que havia passat fins ara tenia el seu qu\u00e8 i ara ja veurem. Vinc sopat i aix\u00f2 ajuda. Crec que un alt tant per cent del p\u00fablic no ha sopat fent l&#8217;operaci\u00f3 directa cuiners de luxe + performance + p\u00fablic selecte + inauguraci\u00f3 = menjar gratis. Malament. Si no has sopat, que et vinguin amb jocs amb el menjar no fa massa gr\u00e0cia, al contrari, et recorda constantment que no has sopat. A mesura que va desenvolupant-se la performance, m\u00e9s i m\u00e9s persones s&#8217;adonaran que menjaran poc si \u00e9s que menjaran alguna cosa.<\/p>\n<p>La performance en si mateixa. Diferents plats \u201cs&#8217;ofereixen&#8221; al p\u00fablic. Es &#8220;cuinen&#8221; en directe. Una capa gelatinosa es converteix en una carretera amb arbrets i tal per, tot seguit, tremolar ja que els cuiners mouen la taula. Unes piles de pa s\u00f3n, voil\u00e0, les torres bessones i uns  petits avions tamb\u00e9 de pa s&#8217;abalan\u00e7aran sobre elles i, despr\u00e9s, foc a discreci\u00f3. A una superf\u00edcie de tinta de calamar li van caient fruites i tot s&#8217;embruta. A la muntanya de xocolata li llencen primer gelat de xocolata i despr\u00e9s t\u00e8bia &#8220;tipus&#8221; pluja \u00e0cida i el paisatge ser\u00e0 un malson. F\u00e0cil, molt f\u00e0cil. Un es pregunta on est\u00e0 l&#8217;alta cuina i el proc\u00e9s conceptual amb els materials. Un es pregunta el perqu\u00e8 d&#8217;aquesta necessitat de la representaci\u00f3 directa i de la ilustraci\u00f3. Un s&#8217;imagina a nois i noies a classe de cuina fent cosetes divertides per buscar unes rialletes de consentiment o alguna cosa semblat. A veure, que Ferran Adri\u00e0 ha estat a la Documenta. Per no parlar de la relaci\u00f3 amb el menjar i l&#8217;acte de menjar de, per exemple: Jana Sterbak, Allan Kaprow, Miralda, Judy Chicago, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Martha Rosler, Paul McCarthy i d&#8217;altres noms que passen pel cap mentre els &#8220;cuiners&#8221; van d&#8217;estaci\u00f3 a estaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Paral\u00b7lelament, una veu relata hist\u00f2ries. Al voltant de que malament que tenim aix\u00f2 del clima i el consum massiu. Veu neutral. Dif\u00edcil discernir si hi ha una voluntat moralitzadora, si existeix certa ironia, si hem descobert la roda o si realment aquest \u00e9s el tema. Est\u00e0 b\u00e9 jugar, no \u00e9s necessari justificar-se amb com de malament va tot, que ja ens n&#8217;hav\u00edem adonat. Tamb\u00e9, paral\u00b7lelament, una de les artistes passeja amb la seva c\u00e0mera de v\u00eddeo. En una pantalla es projecta el que filma. De tant en tant, ella diu &#8220;stop!&#8221; i la imatge es congela. I aqu\u00ed hi ha alguna cosa interessant, en un proc\u00e9s performatiu la mirada s\u00b4atura a alguna cosa i queda fixada durant una estona. Els cuiners seguiran treballant per\u00f2 l&#8217;atenci\u00f3 del p\u00fablic estar\u00e0 en aquest moment convertit en imatge. La copa s&#8217;omplir\u00e0 d&#8217;aigua i, lentament, caur\u00e0 una subst\u00e0ncia negra i viscosa dins. Les imatges projectades es converteixen en quelcom abstracte, en quelcom f\u00edsic. Veiem el truc, est\u00e0 davant nostre, per\u00f2 en aquest moment no importa. <\/p>\n<p>En acabar, el p\u00fablic, a qui se li donen uns coberts, es llan\u00e7ar\u00e0 a tastar el menjar. La gana. Discutirem sobre el lloc, que no \u00e9s l&#8217;adient per presentar aquesta performance per\u00f2 que, al mateix temps, \u00e9s gaireb\u00e9 el millor de tot plegat. Parlarem del fet de posar a gent del m\u00f3n de l&#8217;art en un lloc &#8220;no propi&#8221; i sobre que b\u00e9 que ens comportem tots, habitualment ning\u00fa es queixa. I mira que enmig de la performance hi ha hagut una aut\u00e8ntica cat\u00e0strofe: una sopa ha caigut accidentalment mullant a alguns dels assistents. Ha estat un bon moment. Despr\u00e9s ens trobarem amb uns altres que van ser al festival. Saint Etienne a les quatre de la tarda no funciona, Arcade Fire sembla que ha agradat. Acabarem parlant de com van les coses a l&#8217;ajuntament de Reykjav\u00edk i si el Best Party es va a presentar\u00e0 a les generals o no, que encara no ho tenen decidit.
