El cable ardent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Documenta 14 ocupa dos escenaris urbans en les ant\u00edpodes d\u2019Europa: la capital grega, Atenes, i la ciutat perif\u00e8rica alemanya de Kassel. Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster converteix la capital de Westf\u00e0lia en un enorme lloc d\u2019exposici\u00f3 cada deu anys. En la seva cinquena edici\u00f3, el projecte art\u00edstic de la rica ciutat de M\u00fcnster coopera amb Marl, que d\u00e8cades enrere va ser una pr\u00f2spera ciutat industrial. La cooperaci\u00f3 i contrast entre dues ciutats \u00e9s, sens dubte, una caracter\u00edstica comuna dels dos esdeveniments art\u00edstics alemanys que se celebren aquest any en qu\u00e8 coincideixen la Biennal de Ven\u00e8cia, Documenta i Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster.<\/p>\n<p>Molts cr\u00edtics han comparat Documenta amb Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster. Una cosa que \u00e9s, de fet, com comparar peres amb pomes. A Atenes i Kassel, Adam Szymczik (*1974) s\u2019ha esmer\u00e7at a posar en escena un &#8220;mercat d\u2019oportunitats&#8221; amb 150 artistes internacionals de tots els g\u00e8neres, cosa que d\u00f3na la possibilitat de descobrir alguns artistes desconeguts. L\u2019elecci\u00f3 de les seus, recorreguts i disseny del cat\u00e0leg -sense paginaci\u00f3 ni ordre alfab\u00e8tic de l\u2019aparici\u00f3 dels artistes- revelen l\u2019\u00e0nsia de Szymczik de ser innovador i de presentar una Documenta totalment diferent de les precedents.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00fcnster, pel contrari, presenta 35 projectes en un particular g\u00e8nere de l\u2019art a l\u2019espai p\u00fablic i est\u00e0 majorment organitzada per un comissari amb experi\u00e8ncia. Kasper K\u00f6nig (*1943 M\u00fcnster) va iniciar aquest format el 1977 i al llarg de tots aquests anys, ha muntat diverses exposicions influents, com &#8220;Westart&#8221; (1981) o &#8220;Von hier aus&#8221; (1984). &#8220;El format&#8221;, es diu al cat\u00e0leg, &#8220;equival a una revelaci\u00f3 de l\u2019estat d\u2019\u00e0nim de M\u00fcnster, proporciona indicis del que passa m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de la fa\u00e7ana i examina la seva vida i la seva abstracci\u00f3&#8221;. Encara m\u00e9s important \u00e9s la visi\u00f3 de K\u00f6nig sobre la sostenibilitat: cada edici\u00f3 s\u2019inscriu en la situaci\u00f3 urbana i social existent, el que es tradueix en escultures comprades des de 1977 visibles per tot el centre de la ciutat. L\u2019elecci\u00f3 de Marl com a ciutat amb la qual cooperar va sorprendre al principi, especialment si considerem la g\u00e8nesi de les dues ciutats i el seu recorregut divergent en els anys del \u2019Miracle Econ\u00f2mic\u2019 alemany despr\u00e9s de la II Guerra Mundial.<\/p>\n<p>El centre medieval de M\u00fcnster va ser destru\u00eft en gran part durant la guerra i aviat reconstru\u00eft a la perfecci\u00f3. La universitat \u00e9s avui pr\u00f2spera i bastant popular entre els estudiants, sobretot perqu\u00e8 M\u00fcnster \u00e9s coneguda com la &#8220;Ciutat Ciclista&#8221; m\u00e9s famosa d\u2019Alemanya. La ciutat de Marl, a la frontera entre Westf\u00e0lia i la regi\u00f3 industrial del Ruhr, va ser fundada pels nazis i destru\u00efda durant la guerra, recuperant-se als anys cinquanta gr\u00e0cies a una florent ind\u00fastria minera i qu\u00edmica. Aix\u00ed, la ciutat va poder encarregar als arquitectes neerlandesos Johannes van den Broek i Jacob Berend Bakema la construcci\u00f3 d\u2019un escenari urb\u00e0 ut\u00f2pic d\u2019estil <i>brutalista<\/i>, incloent un ajuntament i un centre comercial. Es van adquirir un considerable nombre d\u2019escultures per a ser instal\u00b7lades en aquest espai p\u00fablic eminentment funcional. El museu d\u2019escultura, anomenat <i>Glaskasten<\/i>, al costat de l\u2019ajuntament, juga un paper important en el desenvolupament cultural de Marl. A l\u2019actualitat, la ciutat compta amb setanta escultures p\u00fabliques repartides per tota la ciutat, el seu llac i el seu parc. L\u2019art en l\u2019espai p\u00fablic s\u2019ha convertit en una part de la comunitat, lamentablement una de les m\u00e9s empobrides de la regi\u00f3 de Ren\u00e0nia-Westf\u00e0lia avui dia.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"670\" height=\"447\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-21166\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Pirici_Rogge-2820.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Pirici_Rogge-2820.jpg 670w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Pirici_Rogge-2820-595x397.jpg 595w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Hot Wire&#8221; (el cable ardent) \u00e9s el t\u00edtol de la cooperaci\u00f3 entre M\u00fcnster i Marl. Un t\u00edtol pol\u00edticament connotat que nom\u00e9s es pot entendre despr\u00e9s d\u2019haver recorregut tot el Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster. L\u2019exposici\u00f3, tot s\u2019ha de dir, ha estat comissariada per Kasper K\u00f6nig juntament amb Britta Peters (*1967) i Marianne Wagner (*1978), el que podria explicar que la meitat dels artistes participants siguin dones -cosa que no passa a Ven\u00e8cia ni a Kassel i Atenes.<\/p>\n<p>La visita a M\u00fcnster es pot iniciar a la catedral g\u00f2tica, preferentment en bici. En girar la cantonada, al Museu d\u2019Art i Cultura, l\u2019artista alemany Gregor Schneider (*1969, Rheydt) ha instal\u00b7lat un pis per al seu personatge fictici N. Schmidt, que pret\u00e9n confondre des de l\u2019arquitectura l\u2019espai p\u00fablic amb l\u2019espai privat. Una mica m\u00e9s endavant, Gerard Byrne (*1969 Dublin) ha seleccionat una sala a la biblioteca municipal per a la posada en escena del seu programa de r\u00e0dio po\u00e8tic i molt sat\u00edric, que emet not\u00edcies i el temps. Qui vulgui aprendre la hist\u00f2ria de M\u00fcnster i la seva rellev\u00e0ncia per a la filosofia europea ha de visitar l\u2019acci\u00f3 cont\u00ednua sobre conflictes territorials que porta a terme Alexandra Pirici (*1982 Bucharest) a l\u2019antic ajuntament.<\/p>\n<p>El teatre de M\u00fcnster \u00e9s la seu del projecte de Ashok Sukumaron (*1974 Hokkaido) i Shaina Anand (*1975 Bombai) -dos membres del reagrupat estudi interdisciplinari CAMP: una xarxa simb\u00f2lica instal\u00b7lada en un entorn arquitect\u00f2nic molt heterogeni. Amb prou humor tracta l\u2019artista nord-americana Nicole Eisenmann (*1965 Verdun) la idea fonamental de Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster: les seves voluminoses escultures de guix i bronze es reparteixen d\u2019una manera particular al voltant d\u2019un petit estany al cintur\u00f3 verd de M\u00fcnster. La instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 f\u00edlmica de Mika Rottenberg (*1976 Bons Aires), en una botiga de productes asi\u00e0tics tancada, \u00e9s alhora pol\u00edtica i intrigantment po\u00e8tica. La pel\u00b7l\u00edcula fa refer\u00e8ncia a assumptes pol\u00edtics i de migraci\u00f3, combinant el documental, visions sorprenentment est\u00e8tiques del mur entre els Estats Units i M\u00e8xic, i escenes de ficci\u00f3 en qu\u00e8 apareixen persones arrossegant-se per un t\u00fanel que serveix de connexi\u00f3 comercial entre dos restaurants xinesos, un a cada costat del mur. \u00c9s obligat parar al llac Aa, ja que aqu\u00ed es troben molts de les obres d\u2019anteriors edicions de Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster: les &#8220;Giant Pool Balls&#8221; de Claes Oldenburg (1977) o el &#8220;Pier&#8221; (1997) de Jorge Pardo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"670\" height=\"502\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-21169\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Rottenberg_Rogge-3033.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Rottenberg_Rogge-3033.jpg 670w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Rottenberg_Rogge-3033-534x400.jpg 534w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Hot Wire&#8221; &#8211; el nom de la cooperaci\u00f3 entre M\u00fcnster i Marl, entre l\u2019equip curatorial de M\u00fcnster i el director del <i>Glaskasten<\/i>, Georg Elben- es fa visible principalment a trav\u00e9s d\u2019algunes peces realitzades com si fossin bessons separats entre les dues seus. Aix\u00ed, Lara Favaretto (*1973 Tor\u00ed) exposa les seves roques de granit buides tant a M\u00fcnster com a Marl. Thomas Sch\u00fctte (*1954 Oldenburg), presenta a M\u00fcnster el seu &#8220;Nuclear Temple&#8221; i ha creat un hom\u00f2leg de la seva &#8220;Kirschens\u00e4ule&#8221; (Cherry Pillar, 1987) de M\u00fcnster per Marl, que consisteix en un pilar amb s\u00edndries. Sany \/ Samuel Nyholm (*1973, Lund) ha etiquetat Marl i M\u00fcnster amb els seus sat\u00edrics &#8220;Tings&#8221;. La instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 &#8220;Angst&#8221; (1989) de l\u2019alemany Ludger Gerdes (1954-2008) a la fa\u00e7ana de l\u2019ajuntament de Marl s\u2019ha replicat &#8211; com a segona estrat\u00e8gia de &#8220;The Hot Wire&#8221; &#8211; a la fa\u00e7ana d\u2019un centre comercial a M\u00fcnster.<\/p>\n<p>El <i>Glaskasten<\/i> acull una exposici\u00f3 de maquetes de treballs realitzats i no realitzats de les diferents edicions de Skulptur Projekte M\u00fcnster. En aquest context s\u00f3n fascinants les miniatures de &#8220;Roman de M\u00fcnster&#8221; de Dominique Gonzales-Foerster (*1965 Strasbourg) que es van exposar a l\u2019\u00faltima edici\u00f3 de l\u2019esdeveniment. El recorregut a Marl pot continuar pel llac i el parc amb m\u00e9s escultures de la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 municipal. Seguint la l\u00ednia de guix dibuixada per la belga Jo\u00eblle Tuerlinckx (*1958 Brussel\u00b7les) s\u2019arriba fins a una antiga escola en un edifici brutalista que acull treballs en v\u00eddeo de 14 artistes joves, tots girant al voltant de diferents aspectes de la hist\u00f2ria cultural i arquitect\u00f2nica de Marl. Com a conclusi\u00f3, es pot dir que &#8220;el cable ardent&#8221; entre Marl i M\u00fcnster a trav\u00e9s de Skulptur Projekte \u00e9s revelador en molts aspectes per a ambdues ciutats.
