Sabem que aquestes marques no representen una transformaci\u00f3 social radical, sin\u00f3 tot el contrari, donada la seva afiliaci\u00f3 perdurable amb una riquesa i un prestigi desmesurats.<\/p>\n<p>Llavors, per qu\u00e8 aquesta il\u00b7lusi\u00f3? Que ens deixin en pau quan contemplem el nou Margiela mentre el m\u00f3n es crema!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A finals del segle XX, el cas verge i impermeable de l&#8217;alta costura va ser destrossat per l&#8217;elevat estatus de la cultura popular i dels mitjans digitals contemporanis. A causa d&#8217;una osmosi incremental de referents culturals, la difusi\u00f3 de la moda no nom\u00e9s va ser un proc\u00e9s de goteig cap a baix, sin\u00f3 un proc\u00e9s de goteig cap a dalt i cap a baix. En conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, l&#8217;alta costura es va tornar m\u00e9s susceptible a les imminents tensions dial\u00e8ctiques entre la seva aversi\u00f3 i la fetitxisaci\u00f3 de les cultures de base. Fins al dia d&#8217;avui, les acusacions d&#8217;apropiaci\u00f3 indeguda de la cultura, de glamouritzaci\u00f3 del sofriment i <em>greenwashing<\/em> s\u00f3n habituals. Per a la ind\u00fastria de l&#8217;alta moda, qualsevol faceta de la cultura \u00e9s percebuda com un joc just per ser adoptat, dissolt del significat original i reimaginat en el seu hom\u00f2leg purament estetitzat, la seva semblan\u00e7a amb la font original es basa en la pura aparen\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest complex es pot atribuir en part al fenomen postmodern de fragmentaci\u00f3 semi\u00f2tica; seguint el que Derrida anomena \u00abindeterminaci\u00f3 radical del significat\u00bb, els significants ja no tenen relaci\u00f3 l\u00f2gica amb el seu significat. Per exemple, les maneres de vestir que abans es correlacionaven amb identitats de classe particulars ara s&#8217;utilitzen de manera casual i deshistorizada per les marques d&#8217;alta costura, com a disfressa temporal d&#8217;una col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 primavera\/estiu; l&#8217;estetitzaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una realitat material tangible. Des de dissenyadores com Vivienne Westwood i Rei Kawakubo, les creacions amb tirada <em>punk<\/em> de les quals han estat criticades per efimeritzar la pobresa fins als extrems de la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 Dior de John Galliano del 2000 que es va inspirar en l&#8217;estil de la poblaci\u00f3 sense sostre de Par\u00eds, durant les \u00faltimes dues d\u00e8cades, hem vist la moda com el vaixell controvertit de bricolatge hauntol\u00f2gic.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_34716\" style=\"width: 1290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-34716\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-34716 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Viv.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Viv.jpeg 1280w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Viv-595x397.jpeg 595w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Viv-768x512.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-34716\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vivienne Westwood al 2016 Red Label mostren protestes contra el fracking del gas d&#8217;esquist<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Segons Mark Fisher, aquesta r\u00e0fega de referents, un cop desvinculada del seu context original, queda subsumida r\u00e0pidament per la matriu neoliberal. Per exemple, la participaci\u00f3 de Westwood i Fendi a la Iniciativa de Moda \u00catica de les Nacions Unides va proclamar &#8220;empoderament femen\u00ed&#8221; per a les treballadores que provenien de comunitats marginades d&#8217;\u00c0frica. Tanmateix, com destaca Elke Gaugele, &#8220;el simple acte econ\u00f2mic de remunerar les persones de manera acceptable pel seu treball es transforma en un acte performatiu de jerarquia de classes&#8221;. La mateixa r\u00fabrica de l&#8217;activisme es descontextualitza, es tergiversa i s&#8217;estetitza. Com es poden desmuntar les jerarquies socials reals quan el mercat mercantilitza totes les formes de dissid\u00e8ncia? Tot l&#8217;activisme de la moda es converteix en performativitat pol\u00edtica?<\/p>\n<p>No \u00e9s sorprenent, podem esperar molt poc impuls radical de la moda, concretament de les marques d&#8217;alta costura, la posici\u00f3 destacada de les quals es troba a les butxaques dels rid\u00edculament rics. Tanmateix, aquesta inconsist\u00e8ncia oberta \u00e9s dif\u00edcil d&#8217;ignorar entre les col\u00b7laboracions freq\u00fcents entre les cases d&#8217;alta moda i el sabor especial de just\u00edcia social del dia. El &#8220;nou luxe&#8221; \u00e9s \u00e8tic, vivim un moment cultural on el capital \u00e8tic atrau consumidors experts. La Generaci\u00f3 Z, una pedra de toc cultural destacada, \u00e9s la generaci\u00f3 amb m\u00e9s c\u00e0rrega pol\u00edtica fins ara; segons la investigaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;Institut d&#8217;Afers Econ\u00f2mics, dos ter\u00e7os dels joves brit\u00e0nics volen viure sota un sistema socialista; ser ideol\u00f2gicament d&#8217;esquerres \u00e9s percebut com a <em>cool<\/em>. No obstant aix\u00f2, en estetitzar la pol\u00edtica subversiva, les marques de luxe no estan nom\u00e9s rendint pleitesia als espais activistes? Absolutament s\u00ed, i tanmateix, potser aqu\u00ed hi ha el quid; la moda ocupa un espai curi\u00f3s en l&#8217;imaginari cultural &#8220;entre la ficci\u00f3 de la performance i l&#8217;efectivitat de la performativitat&#8221;. Aquesta complexa s\u00e8rie de factors pot transmutar un acte de vestimenta d&#8217;astut a sord en un instant, fent la pregunta; com podem dotar de valor alguna cosa enmig d&#8217;aquest estat de fractura semi\u00f2tica? Segons Pierre Bordieu al seu assaig fonamental <em>Haute Couture and Haute Culture,<\/em> el valor es deriva d&#8217;un suspens de creen\u00e7a en aquest camp especialitzat, una creen\u00e7a en la m\u00e0gia, per la qual el titular d&#8217;aquesta caracola divina nom\u00e9s es considera mereixedor quan i si tots creiem fervorosament en el poder d&#8217;aquella mateixa caracola. Per tant, els crits de batalla de Dior per la desarticulaci\u00f3 del patriarcat s\u00f3n desprove\u00efts de sentit perqu\u00e8 no tenen context. El mateix sentiment (sense els matisos sexuals negatius) provocat per la boca d&#8217;Angela Davis seria diferent. No obstant aix\u00f2, aix\u00f2 no s&#8217;est\u00e9n a la intertextualitat dels marcs: si Angela Davis assist\u00eds a la Gala del Met per oferir una xerrada sobre el feminisme abolicionista, ens quedar\u00edem igualment desconcertats; com a portadora de varetes m\u00e0giques, el lloc consagrat \u00e9s de vital import\u00e0ncia. \u00c9s per aix\u00f2 que, quan Alexandria Ocasio Cortez va utilitzar la mateixa t\u00e0ctica per provocar un metadiscurs sobre l&#8217;impost sobre la riquesa, les nostres ments es van entorpir. Va ser pertorbador o nom\u00e9s disson\u00e0ncia?<\/p>\n<p>La santificaci\u00f3 impl\u00edcita del guru m\u00edstic i el temple sagrat \u00e9s el que fa que una pe\u00e7a de roba sigui alta de moda, el que fa que un objecte sigui art \u2014el llit de Tracy Emin a la Tate era art, el pl\u00e0tan de cinta adhesiva de Maurizio Cattelan a Art Basel Miami Beach era art (siguin o no que en aquests moments pot provocar heretgia massiva)\u2014. Una armilla Dior feta a mida que es porta a la Gala del Met es pot anomenar alta costura, fins i tot alta publicitat, <strong>no hauria de pretendre mai ser un comentari social radical.
