M\u00e9s que una pe\u00e7a de m\u00fasica experimental, aquesta composici\u00f3 actua com un assaig sonor que examina l&#8217;esgotament f\u00edsic i emocional, q\u00fcestionant les estructures de poder i la pressi\u00f3 constant per rendir en un m\u00f3n cada cop m\u00e9s accelerat.<\/p>\n<p>Fa un any vaig iniciar un proc\u00e9s de treball corporal a Alas, espai de moviment i dansa sota la direcci\u00f3 d&#8217;Andr\u00e9s Waskman. En aquest entorn, en el qual el cos es converteix en el centre de l&#8217;exploraci\u00f3 creativa, vaig comen\u00e7ar a notar amb major claredat com el cansament i les tensions acumulades en el meu cos es manifestaven en forma de dolor. El que abans era un malestar dif\u00fas i ignorat es va tornar cada cop m\u00e9s evident en el moment en qu\u00e8 vaig escoltar m\u00e9s atentament el meu cos.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta fatiga acumulada era, s\u00ed o s\u00ed, el reflex d&#8217;un ritme de treball incessant i una pressi\u00f3 constant per complir amb les demandes de productivitat imposades i autoimposades. Aquesta necessitat d&#8217;estar sempre en moviment i fer m\u00e9s i m\u00e9s sense aturada estava provocant una tensi\u00f3 constant que, en el moment de confrontar-la, em va mostrar com d\u2019esgotada estic, tant f\u00edsicament com emocional. Com \u00e9s possible que arribem a acceptar el cansament i el malestar com si fossin part de la nostra rutina di\u00e0ria?<\/p>\n<p>Un cop vaig observar el meu cos, podria haver optat per especialitzar-me en pr\u00e0ctiques com pilates, meditaci\u00f3 o alguna mena de retir <em>slow life<\/em>, els cl\u00e0ssics remeis per a la sobrec\u00e0rrega. Tanmateix, el desgast f\u00edsic i mental em van portar a un enfocament menys convencional: examinar com el cos i el so s&#8217;afecten m\u00fatuament. En aquest projecte, el cansament es converteix en una eina principal per descobrir com un cos esgotat produeix noves sonoritats i com aquestes modelen la percepci\u00f3 del so.<\/p>\n<p>Quines s\u00f3n les caracter\u00edstiques sonores d&#8217;un cos? Quins sons emet? Quines sonoritats habiten en ell? Com es manifesten sonorament la fatiga i la tensi\u00f3? Quins sons relaxen o tensen al cos?<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;aquestes preguntes va n\u00e9ixer l&#8217;acci\u00f3\/<em>performance<\/em> sonora que vaig presentar com a mostra final del treball realitzat amb Waskman i que ara publico com a pe\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>Utilitzant micr\u00f2fons de contacte adherits a les meves extremitats, vaig explorar els moviments i la representaci\u00f3 d&#8217;un cos vestit amb accessoris ortop\u00e8dics, arrossegant-se extenuat per l&#8217;espai. Aquesta configuraci\u00f3 va propiciar un di\u00e0leg profund entre all\u00f2 f\u00edsic i all\u00f2 sonor, generant una s\u00e8rie de sons a temps real a partir de cada moviment i vibraci\u00f3. Els sons generats pels moviments i tensions del cos es barrejaven amb melodies i ritmes suaus, creant un ambient que convidava a la calma i la relaxaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed, la pe\u00e7a converteix el cos en un instrument sonor, no sols com un mitj\u00e0 d&#8217;expressi\u00f3, sin\u00f3 com una font directa de so. Els sorolls i resson\u00e0ncies emeten la fragilitat del cos, reflectint la pressi\u00f3 constant de la productivitat i els ritmes incessants, que recorda la import\u00e0ncia de detenir-se, de deixar de fer. Aquesta pe\u00e7a \u00e9s, en el fons, una invitaci\u00f3 a parar, escoltar el nostre cos i donar-li valor al silenci i la calma com a maneres de cuidar-nos enmig del caos diari.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;inter\u00e8s per l&#8217;estat dels cossos no \u00e9s cosa nova en el meu treball. Anteriorment, he explorat temes relacionats amb el desgast f\u00edsic i la cerca de ritmes alternatius a la l\u00f2gica productiva, abordant q\u00fcestions com l&#8217;insomni, la mandra i la distracci\u00f3, i enfocant-me ara en el cansament i l&#8217;esgotament dels cossos.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest enfoc s&#8217;alinea amb diverses cr\u00edtiques socials i culturals contempor\u00e0nies; diverses lectures m&#8217;han acompanyat en aquest viatge per comprendre com el cansament i els ritmes no productius impacten l&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia del cos. Entre elles es troben <em>24\/7<\/em> de Jonathan Crary, <em>Metaf\u00edsica de la pereza<\/em> de Juan Evaristo Valls Boix, <em>A favor de la distracci\u00f3n<\/em> de Marina van Zuylen o<em> La sociedad del cansancio<\/em> de Byung-Chul Han. Addicionalment, el llibre <em>Filosof\u00eda de la m\u00fasica experimental<\/em> que, encara que no aborda directament el tema del cansament, explora el <em>glitch <\/em>com a error i fallada, un concepte que he vinculat amb la fallada del cos i que he volgut representar en aquesta pe\u00e7a musical.<\/p>\n<p>Altres referents en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit art\u00edstic han estat l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcelona.cat\/fabraicoats\/centredart\/sites\/default\/files\/media_files\/1_3.INDEX%20%28baixa%29.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Indisposici\u00f3 general. Assaig sobre la fatiga<\/em><\/a> (2015), a cura de Mart\u00ed Peran, i que aborda la q\u00fcesti\u00f3 no sols com un estat f\u00edsic i mental, sin\u00f3 sobretot com una forma de resist\u00e8ncia enfront de les demandes actuals. Entre les peces destacades de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3, l&#8217;obra d\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OuhTceiEd_8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eduardo Fukusima, <\/a><em><u>\u00bf<\/u><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OuhTceiEd_8\"><em>Como superar el gran cansancio?<\/em><\/a> , em va fascinar particularment. En ella, el gest i el moviment incessant condueixen a l&#8217;esgotament, generant encara m\u00e9s moviment i explorant la resist\u00e8ncia del propi cos.<\/p>\n<p>Aquest concepte em va recordar a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qwtGIBS7m6c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Fase: Four Movements to the Music of Steve Reich<\/em><\/a>\u00a0 (1982) d&#8217;Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, on la repetici\u00f3 i l&#8217;esfor\u00e7 f\u00edsic prenen protagonisme, i el cansament es transforma en una eina per a intensificar l&#8217;expressi\u00f3 del moviment. A l\u2019hora d\u2019investigar obres que utilitzen l&#8217;amplificaci\u00f3 del so corporal, vaig descobrir diversos artistes rellevants que ja coneixia, per\u00f2 dels quals ignorava que havien creat peces similars. \u00c9s el cas de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bIPU2ynqy2Y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Music for Solo Performer<\/em><\/a> (1965) d\u2019Alvin Lucier, una obra en la qual el cos \u00e9s utilitzat com a font de so, amplificant polsos i vibracions internes per explorar la interacci\u00f3 entre el cos i la tecnologia.
