El &#8220;Gangnam style&#8221; \u00e9s l&#8217;\u00faltim fenomen de les xarxes socials. La seva durada sembla ef\u00edmera, com qualsevol moda. Per\u00f2 el que diferencia els actuals fen\u00f2mens de masses planetaris de les no tan antigues modes de la societat de l&#8217;espectacle (els Beatles?) \u00e9s una variaci\u00f3 en la seva durabilitat que q\u00fcestiona fins i tot la seva pr\u00f2pia condici\u00f3 de moda. La definici\u00f3 de la moda s&#8217;aproxima cada vegada m\u00e9s a la de la novetat de la novetat, l\u2019\u00faltima de les innovacions de consum generant-se en la immediatesa de l&#8217;ara. El v\u00eddeo d&#8217;aquest cantant core\u00e0, el nom del qual s&#8217;assembla, no per casualitat, al d&#8217;una consola, PSY, \u00e9s un fenomen social que ha trencat totes les barreres de visites a Youtube. El tema ha suposat la mundialitzaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una subcultura adolescent originada a Corea del Sud el g\u00e8nere \u00e9s el g\u00e8nere de la qual \u00e9s el K-Pop, una barreja de m\u00fasica occidental que refon l&#8217;electr\u00f2nica, el dance i mil coses m\u00e9s al costat de l&#8217;actitud energitzant del pop japon\u00e8s. El &#8220;Gangnam&#8221; es troba tamb\u00e9 al centre del debat te\u00f2ric dels nostres dies, doncs fins i tot Slavoj Zizek (qui si no!) li ha dedicat unes paraules en una de les seves confer\u00e8ncies m\u00e9s recents, descrivint-ho com d\u2019&#8221;obscenitat divina&#8221;. \u00d2bviament, per a un materialista com ell, aix\u00f2 ha de ser el m\u00e9s terrenal d\u2019all\u00f2 terrenal. &#8220;Justin Bieber \u00e9s hist\u00f2ria, res a fer amb els milions de visites del pseudoball a Youtube &#8230;&#8221; i coses per l&#8217;estil, ha dit.<\/p>\n<p>Sens dubte, el m\u00e9s interessant del fenomen no est\u00e0 en la seva mateixitat com a cosa, sin\u00f3 en els efectes que produeix en milions de &#8220;practicants&#8221;. En aquest sentit, s&#8217;ha produ\u00eft des del naixement de Youtube una revitalitzaci\u00f3 del videoclip tradicional adaptat al nou canal de difusi\u00f3 global, cosa que ha incentivat la imaginaci\u00f3 d&#8217;internautes i consumidors avorrits, que es troben ara davant la possibilitat de fabricar el seu petit videoclip, llan\u00e7ant-lo acte seguit a la xarxa. La proliferaci\u00f3 del mash-up com a g\u00e8nere compositiu en l&#8217;era digital nom\u00e9s pot ser comparat amb aquella intu\u00efci\u00f3 de William Gibson: &#8220;els m\u00fasics, avui, si s\u00f3n llestos, fan circular les seves noves composicions per la xarxa, com pastissos posats a refredar a l&#8217;ampit d&#8217;una finestra, i esperen que altres persones les re-elaborin an\u00f2nimament. Deu seran un desastre, per\u00f2 la n\u00famero onze pot ser genial. I gratis. \u00c9s com si el proc\u00e9s creatiu ja no estigu\u00e9s contingut en l&#8217;interior d&#8217;un crani individual, si \u00e9s que alguna vegada hi ha estat&#8221;. (Mundo espejo, p. 75).  Tot i que el &#8220;Gangnam&#8221; no \u00e9s el resultat d&#8217;aquesta forma de creativitat, la seva difusi\u00f3 es beneficia d&#8217;aquesta creativitat col\u00b7lectiva que consisteix en coreografiar una situaci\u00f3 (en aquest cas un ball) a una can\u00e7\u00f3 i a una multitud de gent separada en el temps i en l&#8217;espai.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9s famosa d&#8217;aquestes recreacions par\u00f2diques del &#8220;trot de cavall&#8221; \u00e9s la que ha realitzat l&#8217;artista (i dissident) xin\u00e8s Ai Weiwei al seu estudi. Per\u00f2 la gota que ha fet vessar la paci\u00e8ncia de qui aix\u00f2 subscriu \u00e9s la r\u00e8plica occidental del videoclip de Weiwei, a c\u00e0rrec del seu col\u00b7lega Anish Kapoor, i secundada per l\u2019<em>staff<\/em> d&#8217;alguns museus d&#8217;art, galeries i amb la participaci\u00f3 d&#8217;altres artistes i cr\u00edtics. La seva difusi\u00f3 \u00e9s la seva \u00fanica ra\u00f3 d&#8217;exist\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n<p>Dic &#8220;occidental&#8221; perqu\u00e8 l&#8217;acci\u00f3 s&#8217;assembla m\u00e9s a una gran campanya de publicitat en la lluita geopol\u00edtica i econ\u00f2mica entre Orient i Occident: a una censura li segueix una contrar\u00e8plica i dem\u00e9s. Estrat\u00e8gies que es van aprendre durant la Guerra Freda i que alg\u00fa les activa. El videoclip en q\u00fcesti\u00f3 es presenta com una campanya de solidaritat i suport a Weiwei, i tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s una campanya a favor de la llibertat d&#8217;expressi\u00f3 i la llibertat de paraula. No fa molt, quan als artistes se&#8217;ls demanava col\u00b7laborar en una campanya pro drets humans o qualsevol altra causa social i humanit\u00e0ria, realitzaven un cartell.  Ara, alguns passen d&#8217;un tipus d&#8217;escultura suposadament transcendent i elevada a fer literalment el &#8220;ga\u00f1\u00e1n&#8221; (o el &#8220;Gangnam&#8221;). I tot aix\u00f2, amb un esbala\u00efment \u00fanicament explicable per l&#8217;efecte homogene\u00eftzador del mainstream cultural, econ\u00f2mic i social. A la meva anterior entrada a A*DESK, ja circumscrivia aquests dos artistes (com dues sabates del mateix n\u00famero per\u00f2 de diferent peu) en l&#8217;espectacularitzaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;art al m\u00e0xim nivell. Ara, l&#8217;equaci\u00f3 art = capital = espectacle troba en el &#8220;Gangnam&#8221; de Kapoor la seva m\u00e9s c\u00ednica representaci\u00f3. I el m\u00f3n de l&#8217;art ho celebra, o se celebra a s\u00ed mateix. No \u00e9s q\u00fcesti\u00f3 de posar-nos moralistes sobre quines causes al m\u00f3n s\u00f3n m\u00e9s urgents i resulten m\u00e9s atroces que les tribulacions d&#8217;un artista xin\u00e8s; sin\u00f3 d\u2019interrogar-nos sobre qu\u00e8 passa quan les reivindicacions art\u00edstico-pol\u00edtiques de l&#8217;art parlen en un llenguatge i en un canal que invalida, <em>de facto<\/em>, tot all\u00f2 benintencionat que es proposa.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/o5ueV50t64A\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tot el m\u00f3n l&#8217;ha vist. \u00c9s a les pantalles.
