A cadasc\u00fa li vindran les seves, \u00e9s clar, per\u00f2 en m\u00e9s d&#8217;una coincidirem: visions d&#8217;un altre temps a trav\u00e9s dels frescos emparats per la Capella Sixtina i l&#8217;inigualable instant creat per Miquel \u00c0ngel, ru\u00efnes que testimonien el que en un altre temps va poder ser, des del Coliseu o el Teatre de Marcello, fins a qualsevol rac\u00f3 remot dels F\u00f2rums. Altres, mitificades arran de l&#8217;acci\u00f3 cinematogr\u00e0fica, ens portaran a la Fontana di Trevi i a l&#8217;exuberant Anita Ekberg a <em>La Dolce Vita<\/em>. Podr\u00edem estendre&#8217;ns fins la sacietat amb un llistat inacabable. Tamb\u00e9 tindrem records de viv\u00e8ncies personals, com aquell bar del Trastevere on el Negroni \u00e9s impecable, o aquell caf\u00e8 amagat prop de la Piazza dil Fico.<\/p>\n<p>Et preguntes, seguir\u00e0 sent Roma la ciutat eterna?<\/p>\n<p>Roma apassiona. La seva sorprenent capacitat d&#8217;acollida i misteri, la seva espont\u00e0nia forma d&#8217;enlluernar el passejant. Potser sigui aquest un dels seus majors encants, el de poder vagabundejar, i quan penses que et perds, trobes. Aix\u00ed s&#8217;erigeix en honor a la hist\u00f2ria, amb el seu inigualable eclecticisme, des de la gl\u00f2ria i decad\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;Imperi Rom\u00e0 fins avui. I \u00e9s en aquesta \u00faltima decad\u00e8ncia en la que m&#8217;aturo.<\/p>\n<p>Pot ser que no concebi nom\u00e9s vagabundejar. En un moment o altre decideixo deixar carrerons, bars i cementiris (\u00e9s literal) per visitar alguns dels temples d&#8217;art contemporani, anomenem-los, tamb\u00e9, museus. I tot i saber que podia decebre\u2019m, em va emp\u00e8nyer la idea de trobar Kentridge. \u00c9s cost\u00f3s acostar-se al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondazionemaxxi.it\">MAXXI<\/a>, mala comunicaci\u00f3 i despla\u00e7at. I diguem-ho clar, l&#8217;espai no ajuda. Segueixo preguntant-me si alg\u00fa es va creure que aquest espai va ser pensat per ser museu. \u00c9s un dels tants exemples arquitect\u00f2nics que permeten q\u00fcestionar els principis b\u00e0sics de l&#8217;arquitectura i fins i tot de l&#8217;art. Mai est\u00e0 de m\u00e9s tenir present que <em>nulla aesthetica sine ethica<\/em>. Per\u00f2 entro, em trobo pujant i baixant ponts i escales. Arribo. <em>Vertical thinking<\/em>: podria ser la meva sensaci\u00f3, per\u00f2 \u00e9s el t\u00edtol de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3, el m\u00e8rit no \u00e9s meu. La pe\u00e7a <em>Preparing the flute<\/em> ens rep a manera de teatre en miniatura. La instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 aconsegueix unir els m\u00faltiples llenguatges que utilitza (m\u00fasica, dansa, cinema, teatre, dibuix &#8230;), encara que no aconsegueix acollir tal i com solen fer-ho les seves projeccions en l&#8217;espai. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-7185\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/In_Hoc_Signo_Vinces.jpg\" alt=\"b) In Hoc Signo Vinces\" align=\"left\" width=\"670\" height=\"401\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/In_Hoc_Signo_Vinces.jpg 670w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/In_Hoc_Signo_Vinces-595x356.jpg 595w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/>Kentridge sap envoltar l&#8217;espectador d\u2019aquesta atmosfera de fantasia vuitcentista. Les seves posades en escena deambulen entre les ombres xineses i una mena de figuracions que es confonen amb l&#8217;on\u00edric. Asseguraria que tots els que vam poder assistir a <em>The Refusal of time<\/em> a Kassel, guardem aquesta esp\u00e8cie de record: al final d&#8217;una de les naus de l&#8217;estaci\u00f3, sota la foscor per\u00f2 no pas sols, acompanyats per les figuracions que s\u2019anaven succeint sobre el mur. A les sales del MAXXI hi ha una variaci\u00f3 de la pe\u00e7a. Es construeix a partir de les trobades que va mantenir amb el cient\u00edfic Peter Galison, el m\u00fasic Philip Miller i Catherine Meyburgh. Aquesta vegada les ombres no t&#8217;envolten, funciona com una projecci\u00f3 m\u00faltiple. En el mateix espai tamb\u00e9 trobem l&#8217;obra escult\u00f2rica que rememora alguna de les m\u00e0quines ideades per Leonardo da Vinci. L&#8217;exposici\u00f3 es tanca amb alguns objectes utilitzats durant la preparaci\u00f3 de la pe\u00e7a i amb d\u2019altres fragments d&#8217;obres anteriors, b\u00e9 audiovisuals o com a documentaci\u00f3. Les peces contenen la seva pr\u00f2pia for\u00e7a, de cadascuna de les obres que conformen l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 emana aquesta po\u00e8tica del tra\u00e7, permetent travessar l&#8217;exig\u00e8ncia de la mirada del que les crea per dialogar amb l&#8217;espectador des de la categoria del fragment. No falta material, com tampoc trobar-hi all\u00f2 viscut a Documenta(13). \u00c9s m\u00e9s aviat q\u00fcesti\u00f3 de selecci\u00f3, tant en l&#8217;ordre del discurs com en la selecci\u00f3 dels elements.<\/p>\n<p>Torno a baixar escales i, r\u00e0pidament, dono un cop d\u2019ull a la mostra sobre Le Corbusier. Sens dubte, \u00e9s el propi espai, no permet joc a tres bandes (espai-proposta expositiva-espectador).<\/p>\n<p>En un altre dels passejos, voltejo el per\u00edmetre de l&#8217;Ara Pacis, el gran altar de la pau. Aix\u00ed descobreixo les petites micro-instal\u00b7lacions que, de manera espont\u00e0nia, disposa un artista de carrer: <em>In hoc signe vinces<\/em>.
