I rape women.<\/p>\n<p>Maja Bajevic y Raquel Friera en el Centre d&#8217;Art de Tarragona\t<\/p>\n<p>Entre ombres, el cos d&#8217;una dona relata en veu d\u2019altri el testimoni de l&#8217;alienaci\u00f3:<em> Vaig a l&#8217;esgl\u00e9sia. Violo dones \/ Vaig a l&#8217;esgl\u00e9sia. Violo dones \/ Vaig a l&#8217;esgl\u00e9sia. Violo dones. Veritable lletania de fe i viol\u00e8ncia extrema.<\/em> Afirmacions que sintetitzen les contradiccions de l&#8217;ortod\u00f2xia religiosa i les seves pr\u00e0ctiques sexistes. Aquest v\u00eddeo, Double Bubble (2001), \u00e9s de l&#8217;artista Maja Bajevic, nascuda a Sarajevo, i forma part del projecte <a href=\"http:\/\/www.catarragona.net\/projecte\/es\/maja-bajevicltbrgtbleda-y-rosaltbrgtkajsa-dahlberg--raquel-frieraltbrgtteresa-margolles--rabih-mroueltbrgturiel-orlow\">Habeas Corpus<\/a>, presentat a l&#8217;espai del Centre d&#8217;Art de Tarragona.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta declaraci\u00f3 viril, interpretada per un cos femen\u00ed, ens deixa atordits en la foscor de l&#8217;espai del Tinglado portuari. Implacable consigna de guerra, igual de desoladora que la imatge d&#8217;una ciutat despr\u00e9s dels combats, que la d&#8217;una comunitat massacrada pel genocidi. La suau coreografia visual, una silueta entre llums i ombres en un espai interior, ens remet al silenci, tot i la bogeria del relat. La imatge revela un buit profund, com el dels infinits cementiris a Mostar o Sarajevo, com el de les cases bosnianes derru\u00efdes cap endins. Sens dubte, \u00e9s una de les peces m\u00e9s destacades del projecte Habeas Corpus. I passa una cosa molt interessant: l&#8217;espectador reconeix que el cos i la veu se senten a s\u00ed mateixos com un estrany, anul\u00b7lats en els seus drets i pensament. La for\u00e7a abusiva d&#8217;un tercer els priva a tots dos de veu pr\u00f2pia, convertint-los en una voluntat anul\u00b7lada, la cosificaci\u00f3 o l&#8217;instrument d&#8217;un altre: <em>Qui no opini el mateix, ha de morir. \u00c9s la voluntat de D\u00e9u. Jo nom\u00e9s s\u00f3c el missatger&#8230;<\/em> declama la veu del testimoni. El treball de Maja Bajevic, artista molt requerida en aquests \u00faltims anys, mostra la dura alienaci\u00f3 psicol\u00f2gica i moral, tamb\u00e9 social, que emana de les contradiccions hist\u00f2riques de la societat contempor\u00e0nia despr\u00e9s de l&#8217;ensorrament de la vella Europa.<\/p>\n<p>El concepte <em>Habeas Corpus<\/em> vincula, en la mostra projectes, que tenen en com\u00fa la funci\u00f3 de la figura del testimoni. La narraci\u00f3 d&#8217;experi\u00e8ncies personals, premissa de l&#8217;artisticitat, cedeix pas aqu\u00ed a la fascinaci\u00f3 pel testimoni, per la ventril\u00f2quia narrativa i l&#8217;apropiaci\u00f3 com estrat\u00e8gies per a nous significats sobre la realitat, la veritat o la hist\u00f2ria. La fotografia, el v\u00eddeo, o les postals de viatges, permeten expandir imatges i viv\u00e8ncies diverses, fonts secund\u00e0ries i no oficials capaces d&#8217;escenificar el debat sobre la nostra hist\u00f2ria. S\u00f3n la mem\u00f2ria dispersa i el testimoni documental dels successos, els llocs i els seus protagonistes.<\/p>\n<p>Com una s\u00e8rie de preg\u00e0ries, recitades o cantades per una persona i repetida, contestada o completada pels altres, el treball v\u00eddeo-gr\u00e0fic de Raquel S\u00e1nchez Friera tamb\u00e9 assumeix la veu aliena en una escenificaci\u00f3 sobre la impossibilitat de la veritat: escoltar i comprendre. L&#8217;art de comprendre significaria que mai som capa\u00e7os, tampoc, de comprendre&#8217;ns a nosaltres mateixos, i el canvi de lloc de percepci\u00f3 ens pot oferir una perspectiva nova de la hist\u00f2ria que compartim. A l&#8217;obra v\u00eddeo-gr\u00e0fica 1.432.327 m2, l&#8217;artista suplanta la veu dels testimonis, diversos immigrants il\u00b7legals que van ser retinguts en centres d&#8217;internament d&#8217;estrangers, els CIE. De nou apareix la imatge de l&#8217;alienaci\u00f3. Aquests centres de confinament s\u00f3n el s\u00edmbol d&#8217;un gran frac\u00e0s social i el perfil m\u00e9s fosc de l&#8217;ideal comunitari. Tots dos treballs, el de Maja Bajevic i el de Raquel S\u00e1nchez Friera, operen com una recitaci\u00f3 i manipulen l&#8217;ancorada ling\u00fc\u00edstica, el lloc de la parla del testimoni, com un escenari de di\u00e0leg. Elles declamen en veu alta un discurs personal, un testimoni sonor, que davant la p\u00e8rdua d&#8217;un jo, persegueix abolir el conflicte entre el identificador i aquell identificat. Raquel S\u00e1nchez Friera apareix a la pantalla amb un pla curt i sense context, verbalitza sense gaireb\u00e9 expressi\u00f3 la veu dels interns que li han descrit l&#8217;habitaci\u00f3 o les condicions del centre on els van recloure abans de la deportaci\u00f3 o l&#8217;alliberament. Llocs de ning\u00fa, alienats, que no tenen part a les lleis i els drets humans, arquitectures que posen de manifest la relaci\u00f3 entre l&#8217;espai i la corpore\u00eftat, el control i la vulnerabilitat.<\/p>\n<p>El testimoni, significat per ser una veu que exigeix atenci\u00f3 per revelar les claus d&#8217;un conflicte, actua amb fermesa en el treball de les dues artistes. Les pantalles dels dos v\u00eddeos funcionen com un duet sonor, un d\u00edptic visual on elles i cada un de nosaltres sentim com una cosa aliena i hostil el que \u00e9s propi de nosaltres mateixos. <\/p>\n<p>Exposicions com Habeas Corpus desmenteixen el t\u00f2pic que l&#8217;art contemporani no interessa; \u00e9s totalment impossible no atendre els treballs que es reuneixen a la mostra. Totes les obres parlen sobre la nostra realitat i les seves estructures de discurs, sobre la veracitat dels relats; tamb\u00e9 els projectes de Rabih Mrou\u00e9, Uriel Orlow, Bleda i Rosa, Kajsa Dahlberg i Teresa Margolles, que han participen d&#8217;aquest projecte col\u00b7lectiu.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I go to church.
