No creem intimitat; \u00e9s all\u00e0 esperant el nostre reconeixement&#8230; [Estem] \u00edntimament lligats als altres, tant si ens adonem com si reconeixem aquesta connexi\u00f3. El tacte \u00e9s el signe sense un llenguatge que el faci llegible per als &#8220;altres&#8221;. (Holland, 2012, p. 104)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8230; inclinant-se cap a una vida inseparable. Es tracta de ser capa\u00e7 de respondre a modes de vida que no necess\u00e0riament s&#8217;ajusten a l&#8217;ocularcentrisme i la linealitat de la blancor; ser capa\u00e7 de sentir la pres\u00e8ncia de temporalitats alternatives en carn i ossos, de tornar-se vulnerable a la complexitat de la vida i l&#8217;al\u00e8. (Le-Phat Ho i Rose-Antoinette, 2017, par\u00e0graf 12)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Encara m\u00e9s immediatament que altres sistemes perceptius, sembla, el sentit del tacte converteix en absurd qualsevol comprensi\u00f3 dualista de l&#8217;ag\u00e8ncia i la passivitat; Tocar sempre \u00e9s ja estendre la m\u00e0, acariciar, aixecar, donar copets o desplegar, i sempre tamb\u00e9 entendre que altres persones o forces naturals ho han fet efectivament abans que un mateix, encara que nom\u00e9s sigui en la creaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;objecte texturat. (Sedgwick, 2003, p. 14)<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A <em>Touching Feeling<\/em>, Eve Sedgwick (2023) articula que el llibre intueix que subsisteix una intimitat particular entre textures i emocions; tanmateix, el mateix doble significat del t\u00e0ctil m\u00e9s l&#8217;emocional ja \u00e9s present en la paraula <em>tocar<\/em>, igual que \u00e9s intern a la paraula <em>sentiment<\/em>. Sedgwick ens porta a la implicaci\u00f3 que fins i tot parlar d&#8217;afecte &#8220;virtualment equival a contacte cutani&#8221; (Sedgwick, 2003, p. 17). Les seves paraules ens transporten per un camp texturitzat i en capes \/\/ paisatge \/\/ zona de tacte que implica tant els elements f\u00edsics com els intangibles de viure i aprendre en proximitat. El tacte i la intimitat estan saturats d&#8217;informaci\u00f3 sensorial, pol\u00edtica i emocional. Les experi\u00e8ncies ens toquen \/\/ la nostra pres\u00e8ncia toca els altres.<\/p>\n<p>Si la multiplicitat del tacte, en la tactilitat corporal i el potencial immaterial, ens porta tant a la pell \/\/ la carn \/\/ la carn d&#8217;un subjecte, com simult\u00e0niament m\u00e9s enll\u00e0&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; qu\u00e8 ens ofereix aix\u00f2 quan pensem en la palpabilitat de la ra\u00e7a i les seves empremtes materials i simb\u00f2liques?<\/p>\n<p>Podem entendre el nostre coneixement de la ra\u00e7a i el seu tacte com, all\u00f2 que Sedgwick anomena, un objecte texturitzat?<\/p>\n<p>I si pens\u00e9ssim en la blancor mateixa com un objecte texturitzat; quelcom sentit, acumulat, per\u00f2 mal\u00b7leable i est\u00e8s {molt} m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 del l\u00edmit de la pell; quelcom que canvia i dona forma a la manera com aprenem en proximitat amb totes les altres formes de vida?<\/p>\n<p>El 2015, com a esfor\u00e7 per examinar com la ra\u00e7a opera \u00edntimament a la meva vida, vaig dur a terme <em>The Touch Project<\/em>. Durant dues setmanes, vaig registrar textualment i visualment cada cas de tacte que vaig trobar. Mantenint-me conscient de com utilitzava el meu cos en contacte amb els altres, vaig documentar les meves experi\u00e8ncies: des de ser atape\u00efda contra desconeguts a l&#8217;autob\u00fas, fins a mans que em fregaven de forma visible, fins a abra\u00e7ades de tot el cos; des de moments de repulsi\u00f3 \u2014tacte inevitable \/\/ no desitjat, fins a desitjos on el tacte no estava perm\u00e8s. Vaig comptar com vaig tocar 31 persones, inclosos \u00e9ssers no humans amb qui tamb\u00e9 vaig estar en contacte. A m\u00e9s d&#8217;aquests 31, hi va haver cinc casos en qu\u00e8 vaig voler tocar alg\u00fa per\u00f2 no vaig poder, a causa de restriccions o circumst\u00e0ncies. La creaci\u00f3 de coneixement \u00e9s un proc\u00e9s no lineal, que es desenvolupa a trav\u00e9s de la comprensi\u00f3 de nosaltres mateixos en connexi\u00f3 amb all\u00f2 que ens topem \/\/ els llocs on entrem i sortim. I dins d&#8217;aix\u00f2, desenvolupar una comprensi\u00f3 \u00edntima del cos i amb el cos no s&#8217;atura al l\u00edmit de la pell; &#8220;el nostre cos \u00e9s com una riba: una superf\u00edcie mutable d&#8217;intercanvi amb un l\u00edmit canviant d&#8217;interior i exterior, el ara i l&#8217;encara no arribat&#8221; (Maule-O&#8217;Brien, 2021, p. 128).<\/p>\n<p>Les imatges que vaig fer van posar en relleu fragments del meu propi coneixement constru\u00eft i encarnat. Transmetien com el tacte i la ra\u00e7a operen com a experi\u00e8ncies multisensorials al cos, superposades amb records i sistemes de creences. El tacte engloba tant la viol\u00e8ncia com l&#8217;empatia alhora, ja que &#8220;porta un missatge sobre el present immediat, el possible futur i el passat problem\u00e0tic&#8230; [ja que] creua fronteres, tant reals com imagin\u00e0ries &#8221; (Holland, 2012, p. 100). La ra\u00e7a i el racisme es produeixen hist\u00f2ricament a trav\u00e9s del treball i l&#8217;economia, i continuen modelant les nostres vides a trav\u00e9s d&#8217;estructures duradores. Dins del tacte, la ra\u00e7a pot ser fluida i matisada, per\u00f2 les implicacions estan profundament arrelades \/\/ l&#8217;empremta mai no est\u00e0 absent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_74062\" style=\"width: 970px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ERICA-350x400.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-74062\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-74062 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ERICA.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"1098\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ERICA.jpg 960w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ERICA-350x400.jpg 350w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/ERICA-768x878.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-74062\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Erika<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Tot i que han passat m\u00e9s de 10 anys des de fer aquesta investigaci\u00f3 d&#8217;autoteoria, (re)torno regularment al conjunt de treballs i a l&#8217;aprenentatge encarnat que s&#8217;ha obtingut en el proc\u00e9s. Les fotos ofereixen moments del meu cos en relaci\u00f3 \/\/ un espai per processar respostes emotives, records canviants de converses i imatges d&#8217;altres situacions. \u00a0Fan visible la meva blancor, i amb ella les seves hist\u00f2ries inflades i la pres\u00e8ncia de control i terror. Les imatges funcionen com a marcadors d&#8217;afecte intangible i rastregen forces invisibles que impedeixen i restringeixen&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; simult\u00e0niament, il\u00b7lustrant com les regles estructurals de l&#8217;ordenaci\u00f3 racial poden flaquejar en trobades \u00edntimes, especialment quan es desafien activament. L&#8217;enquadrament estret de les mans o segments del cos s&#8217;enfronta al tacte racial \/\/ obscureix les l\u00ednies racials i nega l&#8217;acc\u00e9s a les categories d&#8217;identitat ocular en qu\u00e8 ens basem. Aix\u00ed, mentre que la ra\u00e7a i el racisme configuren les nostres vides materialment, tamb\u00e9 depenen de la nostra confian\u00e7a en la difer\u00e8ncia i la desconnexi\u00f3 (Holland, 2012). Les nostres vides relacionals poden canviar i prendre formes alternatives. \/\/ Per\u00f2, no \u00e9s, almenys en part, la meva blancor la que permet l&#8217;acte d&#8217;una esborrada imaginaria de la ra\u00e7a en la meva lectura de les fotos?<\/p>\n<p>Per a aquells de nosaltres que ensenyem dins d&#8217;institucions, l&#8217;aula \u00e9s un espai on entrem amb els estudiants com a co-aprenents; les nostres vides entren en contacte. El cos encarnat no \u00e9s singular; les pedagogies encarnades s\u00f3n trobades comunit\u00e0ries, entrella\u00e7ades i en capes que ens mouen cap a (un) altre(s). Com a educadora, estic compromesa amb pedagogies cr\u00edtiques i encarnades de transformaci\u00f3 que transgredeixen \/\/ intervenen \/\/ punxen formes normatives i restrictives de creaci\u00f3 de coneixement. Demostra tant la creaci\u00f3 d&#8217;intimitat com a eina pedag\u00f2gica com de quina manera el lloc de l&#8217;\u00edntim \u00e9s un lloc de formaci\u00f3 de coneixement encarnat. En el projecte, la noci\u00f3 d&#8217;intimitat s&#8217;est\u00e9n m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de les definicions relacionals tradicionals entre persones per incloure la intimitat amb idees, objectes i \u00e9ssers no humans: trobades que s\u00f3n complexes, de vegades conflictives, que sempre freguen la nostra comprensi\u00f3 socialment produ\u00efda de la connexi\u00f3, la pertinen\u00e7a i el jo.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;\u00fas de la intimitat en una pr\u00e0ctica pedag\u00f2gica cr\u00edtica \/\/ transformadora convida a tocar i sentir els l\u00edmits texturats que naveguem vivint en aquest m\u00f3n compartit. Sara Ahmed (2004) afirma que aix\u00f2 requereix considerar &#8220;la intimitat entre&#8221; els privilegis incorporats que tenim i la feina que fem. Confrontar \/\/ girar-se cap a aquesta &#8220;intimitat entre&#8221; les nostres realitats viscudes i la nostra pedagogia com a lloc de trobada i despr\u00e9s ensenyar des d&#8217;aquest espai \u00e9s un proc\u00e9s durador \/\/ mai acabat \/\/ que \u00e9s integral no nom\u00e9s per al treball racial, sin\u00f3 per a tots els canvis socials.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_74054\" style=\"width: 1010px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/cuzmo-400x400.jpeg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-74054\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-74054 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/cuzmo.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/cuzmo.jpeg 1000w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/cuzmo-400x400.jpeg 400w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/cuzmo-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/cuzmo-768x768.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-74054\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cuzmo<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Aquest \u00e9s un treball d&#8217;exposici\u00f3 \/\/ de tacte \/\/ de sentiment. Ens requereix habitar la cr\u00edtica a fons i romandre en el que Ahmed (2004) anomena un <em>present inacabat<\/em>. \u00c9s desenvolupar una intimitat amb un col\u00b7lapse del temps, on les vores afilades dels passats colonials perforen les nostres vides contempor\u00e0nies, per\u00f2 on podem reparar-les per produir un futur diferent.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed (2004) veu aquest afrontament de la responsabilitat i la rendici\u00f3 de comptes com a part del treball reparador \/\/ movent els nostres cossos en un &#8220;doble gir&#8221;. Il\u00b7lustra aix\u00f2 com un primer gir cap a la cr\u00edtica de la blancor i les seves implicacions, per\u00f2 per despr\u00e9s girar-se de nou cap a l&#8217;altre per afrontar la responsabilitat \u00edntima. Dins d&#8217;aquesta acci\u00f3, llegeix un potencial per aclarir el terreny perqu\u00e8 sorgeixin vides relacionals alternatives. Entenc el doble gir com un moment per aturar-se en &#8220;la intimitat entre&#8221; \/\/ per exercir una vulnerabilitat deliberada \/\/ per evocar un aprenentatge \u00edntim a trav\u00e9s del coneixement que obtenim durant l&#8217;exposici\u00f3. De la mateixa manera que <em>The Project Touch<\/em>, \u00e9s un gest encarnat al qual tornar cont\u00ednuament, repetint el doble gir cap a nosaltres mateixos i despr\u00e9s cap a l&#8217;altre, i tornant una i una altra vegada.
