Aquest \u00e9s el tret com\u00fa dels treballs d\u2019Eul\u00e0lia Grau (Terrassa, 1946), a qui el MACBA dedica la seva primera exposici\u00f3 monogr\u00e0fica. Corrupci\u00f3, explotaci\u00f3 laboral, especulaci\u00f3 immobili\u00e0ria, els estereotips de g\u00e8nere i, en general, la capacitat que tenen els mitjans de comunicaci\u00f3 de masses per influir en la imatge que tenim del m\u00f3n, s\u00f3n els seus principals temes d\u2019inter\u00e8s. <\/p>\n<p>Eul\u00e0lia Grau enuncia i denuncia la realitat, prenent imatges procedents de la premsa, que recompon i utilitza com a elements d&#8217;an\u00e0lisis per contraposici\u00f3. La seva est\u00e8tica bascula entre un pop colorista i efectiu, i elements m\u00e9s propers a la deriva conceptual o a la onda fluxus. Ella escriu \u201cbusco obrir la possibilitat a una nova lectura de la realitat. Per aix\u00f2 no crec que les meves obres siguin de contemplar, sin\u00f3 que s\u00f3n com notes, anotacions, comentaris, observacions sobre l&#8217;estat etnogr\u00e0fic, sociol\u00f2gic, moral, cultural del m\u00f3n que hem rodeja.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Un espera que l\u2019art el commogui. L\u2019exposici\u00f3 d\u2019Eul\u00e0lia ho va fer. Per ser m\u00e9s concrets una de les peces de l\u2019exposici\u00f3 em va deixar garratibat. Es tracta de dues seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies d\u2019imatges on l\u2019artista reconstrueix un seguit de fets al voltant de dues persones concretes. La primera \u00e9s Diego Navarro, obrer andal\u00fas i pare de fam\u00edlia nombrosa que el 23 de juliol de 1973, va resultar ferit de bala durant la concentraci\u00f3 en el pont de Ferro a l&#8217;Arbo\u00e7, en la que van participar obrers del Baix Llobregat amb llurs familiars, amb l&#8217;objecte d&#8217;adherir-se al congr\u00e9s de la Cultura Catalana,. Poc despr\u00e9s va ingressar a la pres\u00f3 de Tarragona on es va acabar su\u00efcidant. L\u2019altra \u00e9s la hist\u00f2ria de Juan Vil\u00e1 Reyes, conegut i medi\u00e0tic empresari catal\u00e0 implicat en el frau Matesa, cas pel qual va ser empresonat i indultat posteriorment. <\/p>\n<p>Les dues narracions corren en paral\u00b7lel i evidencien l&#8217;escassetat d&#8217;informaci\u00f3 i d\u2019imatges relatives al primer cas, que contrasta amb l&#8217;abund\u00e0ncia de dades i documentaci\u00f3 sobre el segon. L\u2019obra reflexiona en \u00faltima inst\u00e0ncia sobre el tracte diferencial que la just\u00edcia va tenir amb cada una d\u2019elles. La seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de les imatges i la cruesa i el contrast dels relats vitals que testimonia generen en l\u2019espectador una esp\u00e8cie de r\u00e0bia i tristor continguda de la qual \u00e9s dif\u00edcil escapar, m\u00e9s encara si es t\u00e9 en compte vig\u00e8ncia d\u2019aquesta cr\u00edtica social. Knockout. <\/p>\n<p>Arran d\u2019aquesta pe\u00e7a m\u2019aventuro a fer un despla\u00e7ament temporal: portant aquest exercici de reflexi\u00f3 crua i pertinent de la realitat dels 70\u2019s a la societat d\u2019avui en dia. I\u00f1aqui Urdangar\u00edn i J.L. B\u00e1rcenas s\u00f3n personatges p\u00fablics sobradament coneguts. La seva pres\u00e8ncia als mitjans a causa dels respectius casos de corrupci\u00f3 s\u00f3n elements de la m\u00e9s rabiosa actualitat. Les altres dues persones s\u00f3n Amaya Eganya, 53 anys ve\u00efna de Barakaldo i Jose Miguel Domingo, 53 anys ve\u00ed del barri de la Chana, Granada. Ambd\u00f3s van optar pel su\u00efcidi quan anaven a ser desnonades dels seus respectius domicilis. <\/p>\n<p>Encara podria, per acabar aquest article, enaltir la valentia, perspic\u00e0cia i el comprom\u00eds de l\u2019artista i la instituci\u00f3 implicades. Tamb\u00e9 podria afegir una coda pomposa i abocar m\u00e9s subst\u00e0ncia emocional al text, posar el dit a la llaga i deixar que sagnin les ferides. Una altra opci\u00f3 seria la t\u00edmida den\u00fancia per la manca de posicionament que la comunitat art\u00edstica est\u00e0 protagonitzant en aquesta crisi profunda.
