Com ja comen\u00e7a a ser habitual en el seu treball, Bayo duu a terme una investigaci\u00f3 sensorial ampliant la magnitud de cada acci\u00f3 m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 dels l\u00edmits de l&#8217;objecte que dissenya. Una mena de di\u00e0leg amb i per la tecnologia que es culmina per l&#8217;espectador amb la seva pres\u00e8ncia activa en l&#8217;espai.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta vegada planteja una proposta en la qual recrea un display que rememora l&#8217;espai quotidi\u00e0. Un sof\u00e0 convida a seure; llum t\u00e8nue; una cadira i, sobre el balanc\u00ed, un aparell de dif\u00edcil classificaci\u00f3. L&#8217;artista se situa en el llindar de l&#8217;art sonor i l\u2019electr\u00f2nic i, des d&#8217;aqu\u00ed, desafia l&#8217;espectador a generar m\u00fasica. La idea principal \u00e9s produir sons randomitzats amb par\u00e0metres alterables pels espectadors. En aquest debat entre l&#8217;estigma quotidi\u00e0 i el tecnol\u00f2gic, Bayo aconsegueix unir metodologies i naturaleses sota el signe del <em>Readymade<\/em>. Objectes descontextualitzats adquireixen un nou significat despr\u00e9s de la seva fusi\u00f3. Una trobada que propicia un final obert i una atmosfera canviant acompanyada sota el signe de l&#8217;atzar.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/60480662?title=0&#038;byline=0&#038;portrait=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 del joc sem\u00e0ntic del t\u00edtol, que ja ens diu molt, l&#8217;espectador s&#8217;uneix a la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 compartint autoria sobre un final no anunciat. Com molts d\u2019altres llenguatges art\u00edstics, l&#8217;art sonor \u00e9s interdisciplinari per naturalesa, es nodreix de formes h\u00edbrides i de tot all\u00f2 que t\u00e9 lloc en l&#8217;entorn. Potser no hi ha m\u00e9s objectiu que l&#8217;exploraci\u00f3 i no hi ha un altre m\u00e8tode que la comunicaci\u00f3. Un di\u00e0leg plural sense moderador, nom\u00e9s s&#8217;ofereixen notes, no partitures.<\/p>\n<p>No podem obviar que l&#8217;aparell amaga codis preestablerts i par\u00e0metres aleatoris que existeixen i disposen m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de la voluntat de l&#8217;espectador. Per\u00f2 la categoritzaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;obra \u00e9s inviable sense el resultat, i aquest \u00e9s impredictible.<\/p>\n<p>Per a realitzar-lo, l&#8217;artista se serveix d&#8217;un tutorial b\u00e0sic de midi out. Amb aquest tutorial s&#8217;exploren els punts b\u00e0sics de la transmissi\u00f3 mitjan\u00e7ant el MIDI (Interf\u00edcie Digital d&#8217;Instruments Musicals). El MIDI va ser desenvolupat a mitjans dels vuitanta com un protocol industrial est\u00e0ndard; el seu \u00fas havia de permetre la comunicaci\u00f3 entre instruments musicals, ordinadors i dispositius diversos. A l&#8217;actualitat se segueix utilitzant m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 del seu \u00fas fundacional per a aplicacions de diversa \u00edndole, associades a tel\u00e8fons m\u00f2bils i sistemes d&#8217;il\u00b7luminaci\u00f3. Al MIDI se li uneix un seq\u00fcenciador (random Sequencer) i un Piano Matic 3000. El hardware, al seu torn, consta de sis pods i tres leds.<\/p>\n<p>Bayo combina una estructura interna i externa sense pretensions teleol\u00f2giques; o s\u00ed, si prenem all\u00f2 ef\u00edmer com a resultat. El display es nodreix de la pr\u00f2pia estructura que el gesta i, aquesta estructura, \u00e9s llegida tamb\u00e9 com una suma de fils invisibles que comparteixen espai amb l&#8217;espectador despr\u00e9s de ser accionats per aquest.<\/p>\n<p>Un altre dels atributs de l&#8217;obra \u00e9s com suggereix una nova categoria de la quotidianitat que \u00e9s com\u00fa a tots. Darrere del sof\u00e0 i el balanc\u00ed, trobem una taula a manera de laboratori. Tot i no estar habituats a alguns dels aparells que generen el so, s\u00ed que ho estem, en canvi, a aquesta voluntat de voler recrear escenaris casolans h\u00edbrids entre la tecnologia i el sof\u00e0.
