L&#8217;exposici\u00f3 d\u2019\u00c0ngels Barcelona \u00e9s un projecte que pel seu format i <em>momentum<\/em> complementa la concessi\u00f3 del premi, i a m\u00e9s, ressalta una de les caracter\u00edstiques principals en gaireb\u00e9 tots els projectes d&#8217;aquest artista: el joc entre la veritat i la ficci\u00f3, una l\u00ednia per la que Fontcuberta sempre ha sabut lliscar com si res. Aquest \u00e0mbit mal\u00b7leable entre la veritat i la mentida, que es materialitza en la fotografia com &#8220;l&#8217;espai de la ceguesa m\u00e9s absoluta&#8221;, \u00e9s la via d&#8217;escapada d&#8217;un fot\u00f2graf que s&#8217;enfronta al seu treball amb una honestedat profunda, tot i establir bases al <em>fake<\/em> al m\u00e9s pur estil d&#8217;Orson Welles.<\/p>\n<p>Crear paisatges subterranis irreals potser \u00e9s una mena de met\u00e0fora visual de la pr\u00f2pia manera de treballar de l&#8217;artista: fer t\u00fanels, buscar nous camins, somnis impossibles que a m\u00e9s suggereixin espais de conflicte, llocs d&#8217;una suposada mem\u00f2ria post-industrial o subterr\u00e0nia que generi icones visuals d&#8217;un no lloc perdut en el temps i en l&#8217;espai, per\u00f2 prou narratiu per explicar &#8220;alguna cosa&#8221;. No es pot entendre la seva fotografia sense comprendre que gaireb\u00e9 tot el seu treball s&#8217;ha dirigit a intentar desmantellar all\u00f2 establert. La seva obra cont\u00e9 una implicaci\u00f3 ideol\u00f2gica per se, incrustada en el seu temps i en el seu context. Fontcuberta s&#8217;ha dedicat, projecte rere projecte,  a aplicar un &#8220;emmascarament&#8221; d\u2019all\u00f2 real. Si b\u00e9 \u00e9s cert que els <em>mass media<\/em> comporten un alt grau de manipulaci\u00f3 en els seus continguts, tamb\u00e9 ho \u00e9s que el p\u00fablic general mant\u00e9 un clar divorci amb la capacitat cr\u00edtica. Aleshores, podem afirmar que en definitiva hem estat i som, en l\u00ednies generals, gent cr\u00e8dula.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta fractura al voltant de la credulitat \u00e9s la que Fontcuberta sempre ha sabut explorar. Pot ser que l&#8217;espectador sigui m\u00e9s o menys manipulable, i que el menys important sigui all\u00f2 rotund o all\u00f2 absurd del missatge perqu\u00e8 tot queda supeditat als interessos del medi (pol\u00edtics, econ\u00f2mics, sobre el poder en general&#8230;) i aqu\u00ed \u00e9s on Fontcuberta demostra aquesta fragilitat de l&#8217;espectador i aquesta impossibilitat per veure la veritat. Aquest probablement sigui un exercici epistemol\u00f2gic fonamental en els seus treballs, que en les seves dues vessants m\u00e9s marcades, -la dels mitjans abans esmentada, i la de l&#8217;obra com a imatge aut\u00f2noma que s\u2019auto-analitza q\u00fcestionant el propi fi del la fotografia i la seva representaci\u00f3 i valor (com la del projecte Ficcions a \u00c0ngels Barcelona)- genera imatges, material visual i despulla un mitj\u00e0 en transformaci\u00f3, que no en extinci\u00f3, per a aquells que acudeixen a la mort de la fotografia anal\u00f2gica en favor de la digital.<\/p>\n<p>Perqu\u00e8 la inclusi\u00f3 ben dirigida a un imaginari molt saturat d&#8217;imatges com l&#8217;actual no \u00e9s una q\u00fcesti\u00f3 senzilla. Sembla clara la idea que la fotografia no \u00e9s un fi, sin\u00f3 nom\u00e9s un mitj\u00e0 per entendre d&#8217;una manera m\u00e9s \u00e0mplia les esferes del coneixement i, en definitiva, de la vida. Si la fotografia anal\u00f2gica de Fontcuberta se centra en la naturalesa representada sense excessiva subjectivitat, la digital salta cap a un exercici m\u00e9s narratiu, gaireb\u00e9 de construcci\u00f3, en certa mesura, fins i tot, pict\u00f2ric. La seva fotografia digital \u00e9s com una mena de &#8220;Pintura infogr\u00e0fica&#8221; o alguna cosa semblant, on la definici\u00f3 no queda clara. I en aquest interstici entre les dues realitats fotogr\u00e0fiques s&#8217;instal\u00b7la l&#8217;artista, com Houdini, escapant dels tancs i exercint com un espia del temps i la realitat, que enriqueix la nostra mirada una mica m\u00e9s, fins i q\u00fcestionant-la, en un joc tautol\u00f2gic absolutament l\u00facid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;El que els ulls veuen i les orelles senten, la ment ho creu.&#8221;
