Va construir amb les seves pr\u00f2pies mans r\u00e8pliques, el m\u00e9s exactes possibles, de cadires; taules i altre mobiliari, per despr\u00e9s tornar-ho a la universitat. Va tornar a fer el mateix a la galeria Invaliden 1 (Berl\u00edn, 2012); Komplot (Brussel\u00b7les, 2012) i IASPIS (Estocolm, 2010), les \u00faltimes vegades convidat espec\u00edficament a realitzar el mateix gest. Per primera vegada, a l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/lacapella.bcn.cat\/es\/exposicions\/s%C3%ADndrome-contexto-maneras-y-estructura-formas-actuales-de-producci%C3%B3n-art%C3%ADstica-en\">S\u00edndrome<\/a>\u201d, comissariada per Mart\u00ed Manen, exposa aquests objectes robats com la seva col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 particular. El projecte que va comen\u00e7ar titulant-se &#8220;replaced &#038; replaced&#8221;, ha anat complicant-se cada vegada m\u00e9s, fruit de les caracter\u00edstiques de cada intervenci\u00f3, fins a convertir-se en &#8220;&#038; REPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLACED (AS IT WERE)&#8221;, les 17 lletres p en refer\u00e8ncia als 17 nous mobles que formen l&#8217;actual col\u00b7lecci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019any 2010, durant una resid\u00e8ncia a Anglaterra, Gabriel Peric\u00e0s va robar una escombra i la va pintar com si fos una pe\u00e7a d\u2019Andr\u00e9 Cadere, per despr\u00e9s cedir-la com a obra art\u00edstica a la universitat (&#8220;Broomstick Pretending to Be a Round Bar of Wood by Andr\u00e9 Cadere or Stolen Object returned as a Story&#8221;). L\u2019any 2012, va realitzar &#8220;Fusta corbada&#8221;, una deriva performativa a partir d&#8217;un balanc\u00ed de Thonet, situat a casa de la seva ex n\u00favia, que ens porta per un recorregut cap a l&#8217;origen de les t\u00e8cniques de producci\u00f3 de la fusta corbada, el mobiliari tubular de Marcel Breuer i d\u2019altres secrets entre les grans figures del disseny modern.<\/p>\n<p>Peric\u00e0s \u00e9s un narrador, un <em>storyteller<\/em>. La seva figura se situa en un primer pla, un cert ritme en la veu acompanya les narracions, que m\u00e9s que performances, s\u00f3n xerrades o mon\u00f2legs narratius que uneixen un objecte amb un altre. La hist\u00f2ria per la qual graviten \u00e9s l&#8217;element principal, que sigui un relat real o una ficci\u00f3 no \u00e9s important. Per aix\u00f2 tamb\u00e9, la publicaci\u00f3 adquireix un paper fonamental, on el text i les imatges dels objectes constitueixen un registre per continuar amb la hist\u00f2ria.<\/p>\n<p>Per contra, Carl Palm vol que el seu gest passi desapercebut. Els mobles se situen en l&#8217;espai sense text explicatiu, en un intent d&#8217;aconseguir la m\u00e0xima reducci\u00f3 conceptual. \u00c9s dif\u00edcil escapar dels t\u00f2pics que persegueixen al disseny escandinau i la seva complexa hist\u00f2ria en formar part d&#8217;una exposici\u00f3 d&#8217;artistes suecs. No sabem si la cosa va de privilegiar aquell visitant que coneix la hist\u00f2ria que hi ha al darrere de les obres o simplement la intenci\u00f3 \u00e9s portar totes les lectures al mateix nivell, ja sigui visual o imaginatiu, te\u00f2ric o anecd\u00f2tic.<\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00e0 que els artistes parlen massa? Poden els objectes parlar per s\u00ed mateixos? Aquestes dues l\u00ednies de treball exploren les formes can\u00f2niques d&#8217;aproximaci\u00f3 a l&#8217;objecte. Per exc\u00e9s o per defecte, esmicolen la interpretaci\u00f3. Un element dom\u00e8stic adquireix nous registres, reduint-lo l&#8217;estrat m\u00e9s b\u00e0sic de la mirada o suggerint narracions infinites a trav\u00e9s de la veu i la ficci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>La forma est\u00e0ndard de tot coneixement racional es basa en el paradigma epist\u00e8mic del saber, pel qual les coses troben les seves explicacions en les seves causes correctament formulades i dedu\u00efdes. El fet de voler alterar aquesta equaci\u00f3 en l&#8217;art no \u00e9s nou. L&#8217;enigma de la interpretaci\u00f3 ens persegueix des del &#8220;Ceci n&#8217;est pas une pipe&#8221; de Magritte i l&#8217;urinari de Duchamp. Per\u00f2 no \u00e9s tan com\u00fa en d\u2019altres camps com la ci\u00e8ncia o el disseny.<\/p>\n<p>Si visitem l&#8217;\u00fanic lloc on se sol exposar mobiliari, en un museu d&#8217;arts decoratives o en una casa de subhastes, ens trobarem que els textos al\u00b7ludeixen als materials que el componen, a la seva bellesa i com a molt, al seu autor. \u00c9s dif\u00edcil trobar al\u00b7lusions al context socioecon\u00f2mic en qu\u00e8 van ser creats, al m\u00e8tode de producci\u00f3 i manufactura, o qualsevol altra relaci\u00f3 que no tingui a veure amb la forma. I molt menys amb la imaginaci\u00f3.<br \/>\nPer a dOCUMENTA (13), Raimundas Mala\u0161auskas va realitzar el projecte &#8220;Black Box&#8221;, una s\u00e8rie de converses al voltant d&#8217;objectes del Gabinet d&#8217;Astronomia i F\u00edsica del Museu de l&#8217;Orangerie, el sentit i \u00fas de la qual es va perdre amb el pas de la hist\u00f2ria, convertint-los en objectes abstractes i inclassificables. Un cop per setmana, diferents artistes, fil\u00f2sofs i cient\u00edfics, es van trobar per especular, en un homenatge a la hip\u00f2tesi i la relativitat del coneixement. El que es buscava eren hist\u00f2ries, crear alternatives de coneixement a trav\u00e9s de la imaginaci\u00f3 i la fantasia.<\/p>\n<p>De manera similar, Carl Palm experimenta diferents maneres de percepci\u00f3 dels objectes a trav\u00e9s del somni i la meditaci\u00f3 en el que ell denomina com &#8220;Nocturnal Studios&#8221;. &#8220;Ceci n&#8217;est pas un brioche&#8221; \u00e9s una cortina que es converteix en espai expositiu on brodar-hi els objectes que l&#8217;artista imagina durant els seus deliris nocturns. Peric\u00e0s utilitza t\u00e8cniques que provenen de la narrativa i la persuasi\u00f3 per sobre-dirigir l&#8217;espectador a trav\u00e9s de la ret\u00f2rica i la ficci\u00f3. L&#8217;atzar i la conting\u00e8ncia solen ser el detonant per comen\u00e7ar les hist\u00f2ries que poden provenir del disseny de l&#8217;objecte, d&#8217;algun accident ocasional o d\u2019un episodi anecd\u00f2tic, i et porten a un estat de total passivitat -gaireb\u00e9 hipn\u00f2tica- a trav\u00e9s de la seducci\u00f3 de la parla.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;objecte dom\u00e8stic, carregat de familiaritat, es converteix en un lloc on decidim reunir-hi algunes coses dispars; on tractem d&#8217;establir m\u00faltiples relacions imaginatives, una \u00e0rea que t\u00e9 les seves pr\u00f2pies regles per vincular coses, els vincles entre les quals no s\u00f3n evidents. A trav\u00e9s d&#8217;ell s&#8217;introdueix all\u00f2 divers, all\u00f2 sensible, el car\u00e0cter dif\u00fas de les paraules i sobretot, la imaginaci\u00f3. Aquesta no t\u00e9 res a veure amb una fantasia personal o gratu\u00efta, ens atorga un coneixement travesser, accepta all\u00f2 m\u00faltiple. I fins i tot s\u2019hi diverteix.<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p><em>S\u00edndrome Encontres<\/p>\n<p>En el marc del projecte expositiu &#8220;S\u00edndrome&#8221; a La Capella, s&#8217;organitzen una s\u00e8rie de trobades sense p\u00fablic entre artistes presents a l&#8217;exposici\u00f3; artistes actius a Barcelona i d\u2019altres agents culturals. Xerrades d&#8217;unes tres hores de mitjana amb un text final a manera de cr\u00f2nica.
