Anunciada a tort i a dret com &#8220;la primera exposici\u00f3 biennal d&#8217;art contemporani exclusivament online&#8221;, cadascuna d&#8217;aquestes afirmacions podria ser objecte de discussi\u00f3. Per\u00f2 no ens detindrem en aix\u00f2.<\/p>\n<p>La biennal est\u00e0 organitzada per <a href=\" https:\/\/www.artplus.com\/ #\">ART+ <\/a>, &#8220;una plataforma d&#8217;exhibici\u00f3 m\u00f2bil que combina la visi\u00f3 dels experts l\u00edders en el m\u00f3n de l&#8217;art contemporani amb la transpar\u00e8ncia dels comportaments i prefer\u00e8ncies d&#8217;altres membres&#8221;. I, encara que no sigui presencial, la biennal online t\u00e9 tots els tics d&#8217;aquest tipus d&#8217;esdeveniments, comen\u00e7ant per una debilitat pels n\u00fameros (i tamb\u00e9 pels adjectius): 180 artistes (prometedors, emergents, amb talent) i 30 comissaris (internacionals , l\u00edders). Res en contra dels artistes ni dels comissaris que no fan m\u00e9s que el seu treball; uns proporcionant els noms d&#8217;artistes quan se&#8217;ls demana, i els altres facilitant imatges dels seus treballs. La llista \u00e9s ben variada en tots dos casos, amb &#8220;sospitosos habituals&#8221; i d\u2019altres que no ho s\u00f3n. En la de comissaris destaquem a Iara Boubnova; Hans-Ulrich Obrist; Nancy Spector; Katerina Gregos; Lorenzo Benedetti; Javier Hontoria; Cuauht\u00e9moc Medina i Nata\u0161a Petre\u0161in-Bachelez, entre d&#8217;altres. En la dels artistes, ressaltem a Rossella Biscotti, Falke Pisano, Ignacio Uriarte, Paloma Polo, Daniela Ortiz, Calle Holck i Ragnar Kjartansson, entre molt\u00edssims d\u2019altres.<\/p>\n<p>El problema rau en el m\u00e0rqueting. \u00c9s a dir, la dist\u00e0ncia que separa el que s&#8217;anuncia i el que s&#8217;ofereix. Per il\u00b7lustrar-ho, res millor que el <a href=\" https:\/\/www.artplus.com\/-\/VideoStream\">v\u00eddeo<\/a> en el qual el director art\u00edstic d&#8217;aquesta edici\u00f3 de la biennal, Jan Hoet (el que va ser responsable de treballs m\u00e9s que remarcables, com la m\u00edtica <em>Chambre d&#8217;amis<\/em> (1986), <em>Documenta 9<\/em> (1992) o els museus com l&#8217;S.M.A.K. a Gant o el MARTa Herford) explica, amb ben poca convicci\u00f3, la seva desganada i vaga idea per aquest esdeveniment, que ha titulat <em>Reflection &#038; Imagination<\/em>. Tampoc ens hi detindrem, en aix\u00f2.<\/p>\n<p>Entrada finalment a la biennal \u00e9s anar recorrent imatges d&#8217;artistes i treballs, amb unes breus refer\u00e8ncies biogr\u00e0fiques, aix\u00ed com sinopsis de les peces. La biennal online no \u00e9s m\u00e9s que un arxiu d&#8217;obres d&#8217;artistes seleccionats per una s\u00e8rie de comissaris. En realitat, no deixa de ser una versi\u00f3 en l\u00ednia de <em>Cream<\/em> (i els successius <em>Fresh Cream<\/em>, <em>Cream 3<\/em>, <em>Ice Cream<\/em> i <em>Creamier<\/em>) als que ens t\u00e9 acostumats l&#8217;editorial Phaidon.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s curi\u00f3s que un treball d&#8217;Oliver Laric, <a href=\" http:\/\/archive.rhizome.org\/artbase\/56398\/timeline.html\"><em>An incomplete timeline of online exhibitions and biennials<\/em> <\/a>, encarregat per la pr\u00f2pia biennal, finalment no formi part d&#8217;ella. Com posa de manifest la proposta de Laric, la idea d&#8217;una exposici\u00f3 o una biennal online no \u00e9s nova. Tamb\u00e9 des de fa molt temps hi ha artistes que treballen amb Internet (i no parlem del que en el seu dia es va anomenar &#8220;net art&#8221;, que va envellir bastant malament, per cert). Fa tres anys, per exemple, va apar\u00e8ixer Vip Art Fair, una fira d&#8217;art en l\u00ednia, que continua les seves activitats via Vip Art. Un dels aspectes que destaquen els art\u00edfexs tant de la Biennal Online com de VIP Art \u00e9s la quantitat d&#8217;usuaris registrats i la possibilitat de realitzar seleccions i de marcar favorits, que els gustos i prefer\u00e8ncies dels usuaris quedin associats als seus perfils i es puguin crear xarxes socials tem\u00e0tiques.
