Es tractaria d&#8217;abordar l&#8217;actualitat, o millor dit, la inactualitat de T\u00e0pies. Encara que assumint molts riscos, l&#8217;operaci\u00f3 en s\u00ed s&#8217;enquadra en el funambulisme curatorial del nostre present, de la qual per sortir-ne air\u00f3s, qualsevol comissari ha de lligar no pocs caps, apurant al m\u00e0xim en les formes. Aquest sembla ser el punt de major fricci\u00f3 en el cas present, aix\u00f2 \u00e9s, el fer coincidir les intencions i els resultats de manera que el conjunt participi d&#8217;una totalitat org\u00e0nica que no necessita ja recolzar-se en una hip\u00f2tesi curatorial que aqu\u00ed sobrevola molt alt.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s un fet freq\u00fcent en el comissariat actual que els processos re-actualitzaci\u00f3, re-descobriment i re-escriptura de figures can\u00f2niques passin pels filtres del despla\u00e7ament; la dessacralitzaci\u00f3 i el ve\u00efnatge. Gran part d&#8217;aquests exercicis post-mortem no s\u00f3n tant ajust de comptes com vindicacions a universalitats no reconegudes. Per\u00f2 &#8220;Contra T\u00e0pies&#8221; no \u00e9s ni una ni l&#8217;altra cosa. Tampoc \u00e9s una des-idealitzaci\u00f3 correctiva de la seva figura. La dificultat per jutjar aquesta exposici\u00f3 rau en la multiplicitat de vies obertes a les que apunta, m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de l&#8217;estricte programa metodol\u00f2gic i mapeig auto-imposat pel comissari Valent\u00edn Roma i la instituci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Observant-la amb deteniment -en aquest sentit \u00e9s una exposici\u00f3 per a perdre-s\u2019hi, la qual cosa s&#8217;agraeix-, sembla que l&#8217;allargada ombra hegem\u00f2nica de T\u00e0pies en l&#8217;art catal\u00e0 (i per extensi\u00f3 en l&#8217;espanyol) no existeix, o millor, no conv\u00e9 exhibir-la. Per contra, s&#8217;accentua l&#8217;exercici d&#8217;alliberament de &#8220;l&#8217;ansietat de la influ\u00e8ncia&#8221; de la qual va parlar Harold Bloom a les generacions actuals. \u00danicament la pres\u00e8ncia de Pep Agut relliga els dos punts equidistants.<\/p>\n<p>Hi ha aqu\u00ed tot un seguit de possibilitats i potencialitats que queden suspeses en l&#8217;aire, com &#8220;l\u00ednies de for\u00e7a&#8221; en direccions contr\u00e0ries o sense accelerar a fons: no se sap si es d\u00f3na una restauraci\u00f3 de T\u00e0pies com a artista comprom\u00e8s pol\u00edticament, o per contra se l&#8217;incrimina com a col\u00b7laboracionista del poder. L&#8217;exposici\u00f3 podria haver estat una defensa de T\u00e0pies contra els seus admiradors, manera aquesta molt m\u00e9s efica\u00e7 de combatre als seus nombrosos detractors. Per\u00f2 tampoc \u00e9s exactament aix\u00f2. Es podria dir que enlloc de &#8220;contra&#8221;, l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 b\u00e9 podria haver portat el gen\u00e8ric prefix de &#8220;post&#8221;: aix\u00f2 \u00e9s, una categoria prou ampla com per incloure una mica de tot (revisi\u00f3, re-actualitzaci\u00f3, discursiviaci\u00f3 i altres) a la primera exposici\u00f3 d&#8217;envergadura despr\u00e9s de la seva mort.<\/p>\n<p>Deia <a href=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/highlights\/Treure-a-Tapies-de-l-armari.html\">David G. Torres ir\u00f2nicament en aquest mateix lloc <\/a> que la inclusi\u00f3 de T\u00e0pies en altres exposicions col\u00b7lectives &#8220;ha tingut a veure amb una q\u00fcesti\u00f3 merament formal (quadres amb taques amb quadres amb taques)&#8221;. Aparentment en aquest cas, es tractaria ara de donar-li la volta a aquest formalisme mitjan\u00e7ant un &#8220;contingudisme&#8221; que espiga un fil argumental per a continuaci\u00f3 adjudicar-li artistes i obres, algunes d&#8217;elles a les ant\u00edpodes. Com si no hi hagu\u00e9s infinitud d&#8217;altres arguments de pes en les obres escollides per desaconsellar aquest associacionisme d&#8217;idees. Alguns &#8220;hits&#8221; de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 apunten a aquest renovat formalisme del contingut; <em>Rock My Religion<\/em> de Dan Graham, el v\u00eddeo de Bruce Nauman i sobretot Beuys cantant a la televisi\u00f3 a\/contra Ronald Reagan. Cadascun vist en una m\u00f2nada d&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia \u00e9s una del\u00edcia per\u00f2, contra T\u00e0pies? La principal dificultat amb aquesta exposici\u00f3 rau en la dominaci\u00f3 homogene\u00eftzadora del concepte -aquest universal abstracte aqu\u00ed convertit en hip\u00f2tesis m\u00e9s que en tesi- sobre sobre la singularitat dels objectes (els particulars concrets). Aquests es rebel\u00b7len a la totalitzaci\u00f3 a la qual se&#8217;ls sotmet, i en fer-ho, desmunten el mateix concepte.<\/p>\n<p>En aquest apartat, la palma se l&#8217;emporta <em>Sal\u00f3 o le 120 giornate vaig Sodoma<\/em> de Pasolini. El puritanisme i all\u00f2 escatol\u00f2gic en l&#8217;obra de T\u00e0pies no justificaria l&#8217;exhibici\u00f3 imp\u00fadica d&#8217;aquest film en un loop continu en un espai d&#8217;art institucional. Al meu entendre, la connexi\u00f3 tem\u00e0tica amb T\u00e0pies queda sobredimensionada per l&#8217;exhibicionisme curatorial. Precisament si hi ha una pel\u00b7l\u00edcula en la hist\u00f2ria del cinema que exigeix una restricci\u00f3 auto-imposada i una autocr\u00edtica sobre la manera de procedir amb ella i a trav\u00e9s d&#8217;ella, aquesta \u00e9s <em>Sal\u00f3<\/em>. El contrari \u00e9s banalitzar la seva viol\u00e8ncia i la seva tortura activant la tecla del loop: <em>Sal\u00f3<\/em> com si de videoart es tract\u00e9s i per a tots els p\u00fablics.<\/p>\n<p>Aquesta banalitzaci\u00f3, als meus ulls, contamina la resta de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3. I aquesta podria haver estat molt m\u00e9s rigorosa sense la pres\u00e8ncia d&#8217;aquests &#8220;hits&#8221;, encara que \u00e9s clar, menys divertida i menys enginyosa, menys postmoderna. Tamb\u00e9 menys una exposici\u00f3 d&#8217;autor. En definitiva, menys &#8220;Contra T\u00e0pies&#8221;. El que resulta veritablement interessant \u00e9s el model d&#8217;institucionalitat que aquesta exposici\u00f3 proposa a partir d&#8217;ara, el temps dir\u00e0 si ha obert la veda a altres lectures post-contempor\u00e0nies o si, per contra, aquest primer intent queda relegat a la sempre inc\u00f2moda categoria de la raresa, anul\u00b7lant de pas qualsevol possibilitat futura altra o, pel contrari, com ha fet la cr\u00edtica institucional, eixamplant els l\u00edmits de la instituci\u00f3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Contra T\u00e0pies&#8221;
