En determinats anys i no per atzar, apareix per tot arreu. La pres\u00e8ncia de John Cage en el m\u00f3n de la cultura \u00e9s una constant, tant per la seva condici\u00f3 de codi gen\u00e8tic de moltes pr\u00e0ctiques i teories art\u00edstiques posteriors -passades, actuals i segurament futures- com pel lloc que, fins al moment, ocupa en la hist\u00f2ria de l&#8217;art. I de la m\u00fasica. Per\u00f2, a difer\u00e8ncia de Picasso, a John Cage li subministrem m\u00e9s devoci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>John Cage va morir l\u2019any 1992, un any que molts recordem i no precisament per la mort del compositor. Encara que els aniversaris hist\u00f2rics tendeixen a commemorar la data de defunci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquells el nom i cognoms dels quals s&#8217;escriuen amb les maj\u00fascules amb les que obsequia la Hist\u00f2ria, el cas de John Cage ofereix una particularitat al respecte. Es commemora no la seva acta de desaparici\u00f3, sin\u00f3 la seva data de naixement: l\u2019any 1912. Ser\u00e0 que amb alg\u00fa com John Cage \u00e9s molt m\u00e9s apropiat recordar solemnement la seva aparici\u00f3 i no la seva p\u00e8rdua. Com una manera de celebrar afirmativament el que amb ell s&#8217;origina, en paral\u00b7lel a aquesta altra tend\u00e8ncia, tan habitual en cultura, d&#8217;utilitzar els aniversaris com un espai de radiants ploraneres intel\u00b7lectuals.<\/p>\n<p>John Cage \u00e9s una de les figures (cal usar la generalitat del terme davant l\u2019aspecte multi-fac\u00e8tic de la persona) m\u00e9s influents per a l&#8217;art \u2013amb perm\u00eds de Duchamp- i la m\u00fasica del segle XX. Motiu m\u00e9s que suficient per llan\u00e7ar <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cage100.com\">CAGE100<\/a>, un macro-esdeveniment que aglutina diversos projectes. I des de Leipzig per al m\u00f3n, la destinaci\u00f3 perfecta per al turista no accidental i mel\u00f2man en una ciutat per la qual van passar Bach, Wagner i Mandelssohn.<\/p>\n<p>CAGE100 ha generat, entre 2012 i 2103, nou projectes que \u00f2bviament incideixen en el factor musical de la producci\u00f3 cageana. Esdeveniment en el qual tampoc podia faltar un ap\u00e8ndix expositiu, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cage100.com\/deutsch\/projekte\/party-pieces-project\/\">l\u2019exposici\u00f3 \u201cParty Pieces\u201d<\/a> a la Galerie f\u00fcr Zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst. Aquesta exposici\u00f3 funciona com un arxiu del present per a un projecte que repeteix l&#8217;exercici de la pe\u00e7a hom\u00f2nima de John Cage l\u2019any 1945, quan el compositor, al costat d&#8217;Henry Cowell, Lou Harrison i Virgil Thomson va decidir procedir, com els surrealistes, a trav\u00e9s del concepte del &#8220;cad\u00e0ver exquisit&#8221;. Un compositor escrivia un comp\u00e0s m\u00e9s dues notes, doblegava el paper pel comp\u00e0s i el passava al seg\u00fcent compositor, qui usava aquestes dues notes per continuar la composici\u00f3 i aix\u00ed successivament. L&#8217;adaptaci\u00f3 de &#8220;Party Pieces&#8221;, que es presenta a Lepizig, se serveix de la idea de cad\u00e0ver exquisit per\u00f2 augmentant el nombre de compositors a 128. Cadascun d&#8217;ells escriu un full a m\u00e0, amb un l\u00edmit imposat, enviant a un altre compositor la \u00faltima part de la composici\u00f3 per ser continuada pel seg\u00fcent. L&#8217;ordre dels compositors internacionals, en sintonia amb certs postulats de Cage, es va definir amb l&#8217;ajuda d&#8217;una moneda i el llibre I Ching.<\/p>\n<p>La particularitat d&#8217;aquesta apropiaci\u00f3 col\u00b7lectiva de &#8220;Party Pieces&#8221; \u00e9s que l&#8217;espectador pot endur-se l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 a casa en forma de publicaci\u00f3. Aix\u00f2 s\u00ed, nom\u00e9s aquells que estiguin a Nova York el 17 octubre 2013 podran escoltar el resultat sonor d&#8217;aquesta partitura desterritorialitzada. Succeeix que de vegades el potencial d&#8217;una exposici\u00f3 no est\u00e0 tant en invocar i recrear l&#8217;enginy d&#8217;un creador, John Cage en aquest cas, a qui no li calen aniversaris per ser recordat, sin\u00f3 en funcionar com a element mnemot\u00e8cnic per a d\u2019altres projectes, si \u00e9s possible m\u00e9s modestos per\u00f2 m\u00e9s potents. Per exemple, Possibilitat d&#8217;Acci\u00f3. La vida de la partitura (MACBA 2008), on es mostrava una exploraci\u00f3 de la partitura que tamb\u00e9 entenia la notaci\u00f3 des d&#8217;un vessant musical i visual, per\u00f2 que juxtaposava m\u00fasica i art contemporani i que, a m\u00e9s de treure a la partitura del seu context cl\u00e0ssic d&#8217;autoritat, permetia l&#8217;entrada d&#8217;altres mons dins d&#8217;una partitura que no sempre havia de passar per la interpretaci\u00f3 d&#8217;un m\u00fasic leg\u00edtim. Encara que s\u00ed pel benepl\u00e0cit d&#8217;un espectador-int\u00e8rpret a favor d&#8217;una heterod\u00f2xia ja can\u00f2nica.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A John Cage li passa com a Picasso.
