Durant l&#8217;hivern es presenten aqu\u00ed dues exposicions importants, a les quals cal afegir la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 permanent d&#8217;Anselm Kiefer, <em>The Seven Heavenly Palaces<\/em>, que condueix l&#8217;espectador a una visi\u00f3 del sublim, sigui per la monumentalitat de les set torres <em>site-specific<\/em>, com pel seu efectisme en reflexionar sobre la interpretaci\u00f3, la representaci\u00f3 i la projecci\u00f3 del temps, de l&#8217;espai i del simbolisme.<\/p>\n<p>Vicente Todol\u00ed \u00e9s el nou Art Advisor l&#8217;Hangar Bicocca, i inaugura el seu programa triant, a consci\u00e8ncia, els dos artistes temporals: Ragnar Kjartansson i Dieter Roth. A tots dos els uneixen lla\u00e7os personals, inspiracions po\u00e8tiques, actituds pluridisciplinars i l&#8217;ambici\u00f3 de l&#8217;obra d&#8217;art total. Al llarg del 2014 seran Micol Assa\u00ebl, Cildo Meireles, Pedro Paiva-Jo\u00e2o Maria Gusm\u00e3o, Joan Jonas i Juan Mu\u00f1oz els que exposaran a l&#8217;Hangar milan\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Recentment inaugurada <em>Islands<\/em> de Dieter Roth, a la sala &#8220;Shed&#8221;, dedicada als artistes m\u00e9s joves, trobem <em>The Visitors<\/em>, de l&#8217;artista, m\u00fasic i performer island\u00e8s Ragnar Kjartansson. Els espectadors som els &#8220;visitants&#8221; d&#8217;honor, acollits per una instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 visual, musical i emotiva, desplegada en nou pantalles de v\u00eddeo a escala 1:1. El mateix Ragnar, amb els seus amics i m\u00fasics de l&#8217;escena independent islandesa, -alguns components dels Mum i dels Sigur R\u00f3s-, interpreten, durant m\u00e9s d&#8217;una hora, i amb un instrument diferent, la melodia de la poesia <em>Femenine Ways<\/em>, escrita per l&#8217;ex dona de l&#8217;artista durant el divorci. El t\u00edtol <em>The Visitors<\/em> s&#8217;inspira en l&#8217;hom\u00f2nim i \u00faltim \u00e0lbum dels Abba, banda ep\u00edtom, segons Kjartansson, d&#8217;aquesta malenconia del pop simplement <em>cool<\/em>, en qu\u00e8 ja exorcitzaven l&#8217;a\u00efllament i la derrota sentimental.<\/p>\n<p>Els solistes executen un concert polif\u00f2nic a la mansi\u00f3 boh\u00e8mia de Rokeby (Nova York), i amb aquesta premissa, dedueixo que tota sala que visitar\u00e9 ser\u00e0 un escenari teatral decadent. Cada performer actuar\u00e0 per a mi des de l&#8217;habitaci\u00f3 assignada: el dormitori, la biblioteca, la cuina i fins i tot des de la banyera, -on Kjartansson toca la guitarra-. I nom\u00e9s jo, per la meva condici\u00f3 de visitant, podr\u00e9 escoltar contempor\u00e0niament les nou veus: aquest \u00e9s el meu privilegi. La pres\u00e8ncia dels m\u00fasics, retratada en la seva intimitat i solitud, es convertir\u00e0 en abs\u00e8ncia, quan acabada la funci\u00f3, es retirin, i els espais se&#8217;ns mostrin finalment buits, davant la nostra mirada nost\u00e0lgica. Aqu\u00ed la dist\u00e0ncia est\u00e8tica esdev\u00e9 condivisi\u00f3 \u00e8tica. Aqu\u00ed es convoca el dualisme destinat a discernir entre la inevitable solitud individual i una col\u00b7lectivitat coral possible. I es planteja una mena de doble joc, sigui en la relaci\u00f3 entre el context i les emocions, com en la connexi\u00f3 tradicional entre la performance <em>live<\/em> i la seva perman\u00e8ncia en la reproducci\u00f3 t\u00edpica del v\u00eddeo.<\/p>\n<p>La performance, gravada en una sola sessi\u00f3, sense r\u00e8plica ni interrupci\u00f3, es controla al m\u00ednim detall, tot i conferint-li la frescor de la improvisaci\u00f3. El resultat \u00e9s un <em>tableaux vivant<\/em> cinematogr\u00e0fic fet de poesia i de m\u00fasica, i un cant al &#8220;costat femen\u00ed&#8221;, a la reflexi\u00f3 sobre els sentiments. La identificaci\u00f3 art-vida i la figura del geni creatiu s&#8217;esplaien en tot aquest romanticisme island\u00e8s que destil\u00b7la <em>The Visitors<\/em>, per la seva barreja contrastant de malenconia i ironia, que a trav\u00e9s de la repetici\u00f3 i la durada, crea un di\u00e0leg xiuxiuejat entre la m\u00fasica i l&#8217;espai.<\/p>\n<p>En Kjartansson, \u00e9s aquesta inclusi\u00f3 de tot l&#8217;espectre de les arts que fonamenta l&#8217;exercici performatiu, amb un estil recitatiu propi, combina realitat i ficci\u00f3, tradicions islandeses i mitologies de la cultura contempor\u00e0nia, amb un efecte est\u00e8tic hipn\u00f2tic, gaireb\u00e9 una oda al avorriment, que penja del fil del misticisme i de la par\u00f2dia. Des dels seus inicis a la banda electronic-rock <em>Trabant<\/em>, en la seva obra \u00e9s la performance musical la que possibilita el pathos col\u00b7lectiu, el dionis\u00edac i la paradoxa. La m\u00fasica \u00e9s met\u00e0fora de la focalitzaci\u00f3 sobre un mateix, i alhora, de concentraci\u00f3 sobre els altres.
