En una setmana de la seva vida, es mou pel Greenwich Village a Nova York, visita l&#8217;oficina del seu representant, canta en un escenari buit a Chicago per intentar conquerir el reconegut m\u00e0nager musical Bud Grossman, recorre solit\u00e0ries carreteres en qu\u00e8 travessen gats&#8230; La rutina d&#8217;anar d&#8217;un lloc a l\u2019altre sense trobar que la seva m\u00fasica arreli entre els espectadors i productors introdueix una noci\u00f3 del vagar que no est\u00e0 vinculada amb el no saber qu\u00e8 fer. El personatge t\u00e9 clar a qu\u00e8 es vol dedicar i no es doblegar\u00e0 davant dels altres. Itinera pel circuit de l&#8217;espectacle amb una convicci\u00f3 obstinada que sembla cridar-li que la seva \u00fanica garantia \u00e9s la seva vocaci\u00f3 errant.<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00f2 atenci\u00f3: Llewyn Davis ha d&#8217;aprendre alguna cosa d&#8217;Ulisses, el gat que treu el cap en el film com una ombra, la veritable contrapart del protagonista. En realitat \u00e9s el que ens est\u00e0 parlant del present. La pres\u00e8ncia del gat que no miola, no ronca, observa i de tant en tant salta, ens adverteix sobre una constant. Es tracta d &#8220;l\u2019animal&#8221; (idea recurrent en determinats textos de Jacques Derrida) i dels atributs que se li han negat en la tradici\u00f3 del pensament que ens recolza. &#8220;L\u2019animal&#8221; \u00e9s projectat de forma brillant pels Coen, a partir de la representaci\u00f3 dels contraris, del que diferencia en aparen\u00e7a l&#8217;animal irracional (encara que domesticat) de la persona. La posada en escena de les potencialitats del regne fel\u00ed i algunes de les limitacions del m\u00fasic donen peu a diverses revelacions.<\/p>\n<p>Les aparicions del gat fan circular una cr\u00edtica subtil a la sup\u00e8rbia que cega l&#8217;artista. I \u00e9s que el moix, des del seu mutisme i amb les seves accions (escapolir-se i recon\u00e8ixer el cam\u00ed per tornar a casa), revela la manca de Llewyn Davis d\u2019observar i tenir en compte el que li comunica el p\u00fablic, els amics, la fam\u00edlia&#8230; No obstant aix\u00f2, l&#8217;apassionat del folk t\u00e9 alguna cosa de salvatge i fel\u00ed: solitari, independent, gens gregari, i fins i tot capa\u00e7 de defensar-se i treure les urpes quan li sembla oport\u00fa. Per\u00f2 li falta un atribut essencial: l&#8217;observaci\u00f3 i l&#8217;olfacte per orientar-se i fer-se un cam\u00ed. Per aix\u00f2, potser una de les imatges m\u00e9s fascinants d&#8217;aquesta proposta \u00e9s l&#8217;escena en qu\u00e8 Ulisses, en bra\u00e7os de Llewyn Davis, explora els t\u00fanels del metro de Nova York. Tafaneja i a trav\u00e9s de la seva mirada ens deixa entreveure una altra cosa, sempre des de l&#8217;angle de la seva esquena i amb el moviment de la seva cua. Els espectadors som interpel\u00b7lats i se&#8217;ns enuncia una renovada manera de mirar, que ja no nom\u00e9s at\u00e9n al que li passa a l\u2019antiheroi citad\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Ulisses, el gat, introdueix en la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula un desviament, el secret de com moure\u2019s en el temps de la travessia. \u00c9s ell, actuant en silenci (i sense sucumbir al cant de les sirenes), el que t\u00e9 aixopluc, cau i llibertat, fins i tot entre tenebres. Els Coen intenten dirigir la nostra atenci\u00f3 a les aparences diss\u00edmils. &#8220;El radicalment altre \u00e9s la pres\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;animal.&#8221; Torno a Derrida. Es tracta d&#8217;un temps en espiral, per\u00f2 que deixa escapar la idea que la responsabilitat recau en mirar cap a altres singularitats, allunyades de l&#8217;ego.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LFphYRyH7wc\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&#8217;\u00faltim treball dels germans Coen aprofundeix en l&#8217;incessant deambular de Llewyn Davis, un jove que aposta per fer carrera amb la seva guitarra penjada a l&#8217;espatlla i interpretant folk.
