Joselit recolza la seva tesi en l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 d&#8217;un \u201cdialecte\u201d global altament persuasiu i la base del qual difereix dels models sint\u00e0ctics habituals en el m\u00f3n de l&#8217;art; com van poder ser en el seu moment la tautologia i l&#8217;absurditat de les d\u00e8cades seixanta i setanta, o b\u00e9 la ret\u00f2rica i burocr\u00e0cia de la publicitat en els vuitanta. El dialecte de qu\u00e8 parla Joselit \u00e9s el de l&#8217;agregador (\u201caggregator\u201d). Com se sap, un &#8220;aggregator\u201d \u00e9s un servei en l\u00ednia que afegeix determinada informaci\u00f3 mitjan\u00e7ant una plantilla digital d&#8217;algorismes de cerca i que es plasma en un mitj\u00e0 visual.<\/p>\n<p>Part de l&#8217;atracci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquest plantejament \u00e9s l&#8217;\u00fas de la paraula dialecte en lloc de llenguatge, m\u00e9s encara, s&#8217;agraeix que se serveixi d&#8217;ell com dialecte propi d&#8217;un determinat estil d&#8217;art. I s&#8217;agraeix perqu\u00e8 no comet l&#8217;error de confondre el que Bloomfield definia com a elements \u201csubsidiaris de notaci\u00f3 o mec\u00e0nics del llenguatge\u201d (\u201cAspectes ling\u00fc\u00edstics de la ci\u00e8ncia\u201d, 1973) amb un sistema independent com \u00e9s el llenguatge, i atrau perqu\u00e8 com dialecte implica la possibilitat de l&#8217;exist\u00e8ncia de diversos, si b\u00e9 ni especifica quines podrien ser, ni tampoc qu\u00e8 podrien estar comunicant en cas d&#8217;existir. Pel que fa a la proposici\u00f3 d&#8217;un estil internacional&#8230; Per\u00f2, l&#8217;estil no havia quedat obsolet? \u00bfNo era una de tantes coses que s&#8217;havien mort juntament amb la fi de la hist\u00f2ria, de la pol\u00edtica, de l&#8217;art&#8230;? Ara dubto. Potser l&#8217;\u00fas de la paraula \u201cestil\u201d no sigui el m\u00e9s adequat si en la seva base es troba evitar una confrontaci\u00f3 entre art \u201cconceptual\u201d i \u201cno conceptual\u201d doncs realment no hi ha fonament per a ella: existeix encara l&#8217;art no conceptual?<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;aquesta manera, si, com proposa Joselit, els agregadors s\u00f3n el model sint\u00e0ctic sobre el qual fonamentar la pr\u00e0ctica del m\u00f3n art\u00edstic, aleshores ens trobem amb el dubte d&#8217;on es troben els discursos art\u00edstics. Es podria, per exemple, c\u00f3rrer el risc de considerar llavors com a tals plataformes, per anomenar-ne un parell entre les milions que existeixen, com Tumblr o Netvibes, \u00fanicament pel fet que s&#8217;amalgamin un alt contingut en temes relacionats amb l&#8217;art. Al seu torn, que estableixi una diferenciaci\u00f3 entre arxius -selecci\u00f3 pr\u00e8via relativa a una especificitat- i muntatges -elements compostos segons una l\u00f2gica buscada- no \u00e9s suficient. A m\u00e9s, el fet que aquest modus operandi pugui extrapolar-se al m\u00f3n real, com tamb\u00e9 exemplifica, mitjan\u00e7ant exposicions que segueixin els principis de funcionament dels agregadors o que mostri el Contemporary Art Daily com a prototip d&#8217;agregador la funci\u00f3 del qual \u00e9s comissariar motors de cerca, tampoc aclareix el cam\u00ed sin\u00f3 que m\u00e9s aviat l&#8217;embolica.
