Amb obres de K\u00e4the Kollwitz, Georg Baselitz, Hans Arp o el mexic\u00e0 Dr Lakra, &#8220;The Circle Walked Casually&#8221; \u00e9s un exercici d&#8217;exploraci\u00f3, un arxiu d&#8217;imatges possibles enmig del buit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Genealogia&#8221; \u00e9s el nom d&#8217;un text po\u00e8tic. El seu autor, un m\u00fasic i poeta uruguai\u00e0 de mitjans del segle XX: Felisberto Hern\u00e1ndez. El seu objecte? El roman\u00e7 entre una circumfer\u00e8ncia i un triangle, una fantasia moderna en la qual l\u00ednies rectes -impossibles- i figures geom\u00e8triques -la determinaci\u00f3- que intu\u00eftivament s&#8217;acosten, s&#8217;allunyen, s&#8217;entrecreuen i dialoguen en un relat entre film i prosa po\u00e8tica. Amb el pas del temps i de les l\u00ednies, tota forma adquireix lloc. El relat llavors es construeix: &#8220;En el seu conte, Hern\u00e1ndez atribueix una vida secreta als objectes inanimats. (&#8230;) Aquesta idea d&#8217;un viatge imaginari i de la relaci\u00f3 personal que es desenvolupa entre formes abstractes caracteritza el concepte de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3, que est\u00e0 completament lliure de tot ordre cronol\u00f2gic&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Vict\u00f2ria Noorthoorn, la directora del Museu d&#8217;Art Modern de Buenos Aires i membre del Global Arts Advisory Council del Deutsche Bank fa un tra\u00e7at en qu\u00e8 s&#8217;organitzen imatges mai abans reunides. L\u2019escen\u00f2grafa Daniela Thomas i Felipe Tassara donen forma a aquesta aventura conceptual per mitj\u00e0 d&#8217;un disseny que hereta una forma pr\u00f2pia del teatre: un rail recorre sinuosament el cel de la sala, articulant per mitj\u00e0 de fils les imatges triades a partir d&#8217;un arxiu visual aparentment infinit. Una hist\u00f2ria de la hist\u00f2ria, un recorregut per la cultura com a abstracci\u00f3 que esdev\u00e9 en representaci\u00f3 i joc espacial.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Qu\u00e8 volen les imatges de nosaltres? Cap a on ens porten? Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s el que els falta, qu\u00e8 necessitem completar? Quins desitjos hem projectat en elles i quina forma tindran aquests desitjos quan aquests no siguin satisfets, ens imposin exig\u00e8ncies i ens sedueixin a sentir i actuar de determinada manera?&#8221; \u00c9s la cita de WJT Mitchell que el mexic\u00e0 Erick Beltr\u00e1n tra\u00e7a al llarg de un cat\u00e0leg-leporello, guia de ruta i obra aut\u00f2noma alhora.<\/p>\n<p>I \u00e9s que la investigaci\u00f3 de Noorthoorn es tradueix a un viatge imaginari inspirat en exposicions modernes com &#8220;The First Papers of Surrealism&#8221; realitzada a Nova York el 1942, per a la qual Marcel Duchamp va estirar milers de metres de cordill i les entrella\u00e7\u00e0 com una teranyina, fent gaireb\u00e9 impossible el moure\u2019s per l&#8217;espai. Segons explica el galerista i periodista Oliver Koerner von Gustorf, un altre antecedent \u00e9s &#8220;la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 de l&#8217;arquitecta Lina Bo Bardi per a l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 del Museu d&#8217;Art de Sao Paulo en la d\u00e8cada de 1950. Va muntar centenars de pintures sobre cristalls enmig de l&#8217;espai il\u00b7luminat del museu, provocant la impressi\u00f3 que estaven suspeses a l&#8217;altura de la mirada&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;M&#8217;atreveixo a afirmar que la l\u00ednia corba que s&#8217;expandeix per l&#8217;espai \u00e9s una representaci\u00f3 fotogr\u00e0fica del proc\u00e9s mental que \u00e9s el comunicar les relacions subjacents entre les imatges&#8221;. El <em>compondre<\/em> de Noorthoorn \u00e9s dispersi\u00f3 i contenci\u00f3 alhora. Com si es tract\u00e9s d&#8217;un Cavall de Troia a punt de desvetllar la seva missi\u00f3: l&#8217;articulaci\u00f3 de tota for\u00e7a coneguda i estranya. Entreteixint una experi\u00e8ncia de circulaci\u00f3 en l&#8217;espai visual i concret, tra\u00e7a les pautes i el dest\u00ed d&#8217;una t\u00e0ctica al mig del quadriculat centre hist\u00f2ric d&#8217;una ciutat constru\u00efda i reconstru\u00efda.
