Per\u00f2 que Zacheta li vingui o no gran a Kuba no \u00e9s una cosa que calgui discutir aqu\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Que tothom &#8220;faci fotos&#8221;, per\u00f2 no les faci, o tots les facin genialment b\u00e9 o terriblement malament, que ja ning\u00fa s\u00e0piga molt b\u00e9 on situar aquest art i les seves fronteres&#8230; tampoc \u00e9s una cosa que ens proposem resoldre aqu\u00ed. M\u00e9s que res: per a qu\u00e8? \u00bftant vertigen ens provoca el no posar etiquetes?<\/p>\n<p>Kuba porta fent fotos des dels 14 anys, i aquesta monogr\u00e0fica mostra el seu treball des de fa vint anys. Vint anys tampoc es pot dir que siguin poca cosa, ni una casualitat. Per a alguns, com la can\u00e7\u00f3, \u00e9s un lapsus. Per a d\u2019altres, com Rimbaud, seria una veritable bestiesa. Per a la hist\u00f2ria, ni parlem.<\/p>\n<p>Kuba \u00e9s ara el que es cataloga com un fot\u00f2graf &#8220;professional&#8221;. Per\u00f2 el que aqu\u00ed es mostra s\u00f3n les seves &#8220;altres fotos&#8221;. Aquesta exposici\u00f3 \u00e9s com entrar a casa seva, agafar les caixes on hi t\u00e9 les seves fotografies personals, treure-les, i comen\u00e7ar a mirar-les. Un diari visual, vaja.<\/p>\n<p>Tres sales. Tres m\u00fasiques. Tres moments de la seva vida. Sense paraules ni cartel\u00b7les: fotografies, algun v\u00eddeo, diapositives i ni una cartel\u00b7la &#8220;molestant&#8221;, excepte el panell de presentaci\u00f3. Tot un encert per al fluir de la mirada, per deixar-se portar per la casualitat. I un alleujament per als mandrosos o impacients que no volen parar-se a llegir sin\u00f3 a mirar. Funciona l&#8217;espai com el fluir d&#8217;una pel\u00b7l\u00edcula.<\/p>\n<p>Primera sala, primeres fotos, m\u00fasica americana. Cert airet melanc\u00f2lic, no s\u00e9 ja si pel revelat anal\u00f2gic, la melodia o els paisatges desolats de ciment, les finestres d&#8217;un tren amb seient buit o la p\u00e0tina dels records, que de sobte semblen els nostres propis. Adolesc\u00e8ncia, joventut, solitud, recerca, viatges. Els blocs de Bialystok de ciment, les partides de b\u00e0squet. Am\u00e8rica: cotxes, transicions, recerca d&#8217;un mateix. Am\u00e8rica i Pol\u00f2nia, fa no gaire, nocions oposades.<\/p>\n<p>Segona sala, trobades amb l&#8217;amor, l&#8217;amistat, la malaltia, els primers passos. Fotografies que juguen amb les seves grand\u00e0ries, la intimitat dels amics en retrats de miniatura, la magnific\u00e8ncia del dolor i la solitud en grans formats, un &#8220;altar&#8221; de fotografies que conformen una gegantina samarreta, un gest de complicitat quasi religi\u00f3s d&#8217;humor fetitxista. L\u2019est\u00e8tica del paisatge, dels embolcalls de xiclets, de les acumulacions de discos, del plec d&#8217;uns pantalons de quadres. Vida d&#8217;estar per casa. Encerts est\u00e8tics. Casualitats perpetrades.<br \/>\nEn una cantonada, el moment m\u00e9s \u00edntim de Kuba, sense que ell hi aparegui. Ens posem els cascos i escoltem els Smiths cantats per diverses persones que en pantalla ballen en la intimitat de les seves habitacions en pijama o ballen sense por pel carrer. An\u00f2nims. Els <em>alter ego<\/em> de Kuba. O de nosaltres mateixos.<\/p>\n<p>Tercera sala: recopilaci\u00f3, tancament, comiat. Diapos en constant canvi, instant\u00e0nies que van i v\u00e9nen en les quatre parets. <em>Hip hop<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Un diari, sense m\u00e9s pretensions. Una pel\u00b7l\u00edcula d&#8217;una vida que pot ser la de qualsevol. Potser d&#8217;aqu\u00ed la connexi\u00f3. Joanna Kinowska, comiss\u00e0ria, ha encertat amb el muntatge, per\u00f2 s&#8217;equivoca en alguna cosa: en les seves paraules d&#8217;introducci\u00f3 al\u00b7ludeix als records dels polonesos, sense adonar-se que, m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de paisatges o signes d&#8217;identitat, tamb\u00e9 es troba la poesia de la mem\u00f2ria, que pot arribar a qualsevol. Entrar en aquesta exposici\u00f3 \u00e9s, com he dit, obrir les caixes de fotos de Kuba.
