Iglesias recentment publicat <a href=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/highlights\/Boicot-al-boicot-o-los-caprichos.html\">[aqu\u00ed<\/a>, continua amb el debat entorn de la propera edici\u00f3 de <em>Manifesta 10<\/em>. Molt s&#8217;ha discutit sobre la biennal, que finalment es far\u00e0 al museu Ermitage, a Sant Petersburg. Lamentablement, pocs s\u00f3n els que han dut la discussi\u00f3 cap a l&#8217;essencial: la coexist\u00e8ncia entre manifestacions art\u00edstiques i pol\u00edtiques en un context de conflicte a temps real.<\/p>\n<p>Els debats van comen\u00e7ar l&#8217;any passat, quan Noel Kelly va crear una campanya en contra de la realitzaci\u00f3 de <em>Manifesta 10<\/em> a R\u00fassia, particularment a causa de la implementaci\u00f3 de lleis antidemocr\u00e0tiques que condemnen l&#8217;homosexualitat. Kelly va cridar a boicotejar l&#8217;esdeveniment, incitant a la comunitat art\u00edstica internacional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.change.org\/petitions\/manifesta-the-european-biennial-of-contemporary-art-we-ask-that-manifesta-2014-reconsider-st-petersburg-as-their-next-location\">exigir que la biennal es traslladi o es cancel\u00b7li<\/a>,  en suport a la comunitat LGBT. Hedwig Fijen, directora de la biennal, va contestar a la crida <a href=\"http:\/\/www.monopol-magazin.de\/artikel\/20107144\/Manifesta-Boykott-in-Sankt-Petersburg.html\">en un article<\/a> proposant la biennal com una inst\u00e0ncia de di\u00e0leg cultural rus-europeu.<\/p>\n<p>Fins a aquest moment la q\u00fcesti\u00f3 era si s&#8217;havia de fer o no la biennal en un pa\u00eds les lleis del qual reprimien la llibertat d&#8217;expressi\u00f3, al que es va sumar el conflicte a Ucra\u00efna. La discussi\u00f3 va adquirir una din\u00e0mica bin\u00e0ria, simplificant en un &#8220;si&#8221; (com a pont de di\u00e0leg internacional, des d&#8217;una veu &#8220;local&#8221; i no europea), o un &#8220;no&#8221; (per no ser c\u00f2mplice d&#8217;un govern violador dels drets humans). La crida a boicotejar la biennal va ser el punt inicial, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 un distractor de la discussi\u00f3. Molt f\u00e0cil d&#8217;atacar amb arguments geo-pol\u00edtics, per\u00f2 sostenible com a eina per repensar les bases de l&#8217;esdeveniment cultural.<\/p>\n<p>El debat comen\u00e7a a prendre formes m\u00e9s complexes, pr\u00f2pies d&#8217;un di\u00e0leg pol\u00edtic i cultural amb m\u00e9s matisos, quan el col\u00b7lectiu rus de teoria pol\u00edtica, art i activisme <em>Chto Delat?<\/em> es pronuncia mitjan\u00e7ant <a href=\"http:\/\/art-leaks.org\/2013\/08\/29\/boycott-manifesta-2014-in-st-petersburg\/\">una primera carta<\/a>, en la qual manifesten que l&#8217;art contemporani pot i ha de lidiar amb l&#8217;antagonisme i el conflicte, i esperen que <em>Manifesta 10<\/em> pugui fer-se c\u00e0rrec de manera cr\u00edtica de la societat on es desenvoluparia. Assenyalen a m\u00e9s que per a ells encara \u00e9s prematur cridar a un boicot, doncs encara no \u00e9s clara la postura curatorial de la biennal pel que fa a aquests conflictes, tan pol\u00edtics com art\u00edstics. M\u00e9s tard publiquen un altre article, en el qual s&#8217;analitzen les possibilitats de la seva inclusi\u00f3 en la biennal, concloent que consideren important participar-hi, tot i preveure un to antiquat d\u2019<em>art- aut\u00f2nom<\/em> en el discurs curatorial del projecte.<\/p>\n<p>No obstant aix\u00f2, <em>Manifesta 10<\/em> publicava fa uns dies <a href=\"http:\/\/manifesta.org\/2014\/03\/manifesta-10-will-stay-in-st-petersburg\/\">un comunicat<\/a> on es confirmaven els plans d&#8217;inaugurar la biennal el proper 28 de juny a Sant Petersburg. Kasper K\u00f6nig, curador de la biennal, realitzava el seu molt esperat statement, mitjan\u00e7ant el qual les possibilitats de generar un di\u00e0leg real o &#8220;pont cultural&#8221; -com plantejaven totes les postures contra-boicot- quedaven anul\u00b7lades. K\u00f6nig establia que si b\u00e9 intentaria mantenir l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 lliure de censures, seria &#8220;un error&#8221; reduir les possibilitats de treball a manifestacions pol\u00edtiques. El curador va ser contundent, referint-se a aquestes manifestacions com &#8220;representacions arrogants&#8221; i &#8220;provocacions barates&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Despr\u00e9s d&#8217;aquestes afirmacions Chto Delat? <a href=\"http:\/\/art-leaks.org\/2014\/03\/15\/chto-delat-withdraws-from-manifesta-10-st-petersburg-russia\/\">va anunciar la seva ren\u00fancia a la biennal<\/a>, argumentant que era evident que ni el curador ni la instituci\u00f3 havien estat capa\u00e7os de treballar amb el desafiament que significa generar un di\u00e0leg entre context pol\u00edtic i mitjans art\u00edstics.<\/p>\n<p>La resposta oficial va posar sobre la taula el conflicte clau d&#8217;aquest debat: \u00e9s l&#8217;art una expressi\u00f3 aut\u00f2noma i apol\u00edtica? Segons el curador de <em>Manifesta 10<\/em>, ho \u00e9s. En el seu discurs, torna a la din\u00e0mica bin\u00e0ria posant en conflicte art <em>versus<\/em> pol\u00edtica, i pren partit. Per\u00f2 art i pol\u00edtica no s\u00f3n contradictoris, sin\u00f3 indivisibles. L&#8217;art coexisteix i dialoga amb el seu entorn, \u00e9s provocador i contestatari en si mateix.<\/p>\n<p>Lamentable i anacr\u00f2nic, el discurs oficial de la biennal eludeix el comprom\u00eds cr\u00edtic amb el context pol\u00edtic en qu\u00e8 es desenvolupar\u00e0. <em>Manifesta 10<\/em> tenia possibilitats de convertir-se en un esdeveniment cultural d&#8217;una immensa import\u00e0ncia pol\u00edtica i art\u00edstica, en n\u00e9ixer enmig de turbulents canvis socials. Amb aquest allunyament perd tristament l&#8217;oportunitat de constituir una manifestaci\u00f3 hist\u00f2rica i real, des de l&#8217;art contemporani cap al m\u00f3n sencer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&#8217;article de Claudio M.
