I no per les obres compromeses que exhibeix, que n&#8217;hi ha, i de gran qualitat, sin\u00f3 pel boicot de la majoria dels seus artistes a l&#8217;auspici del Consolat d&#8217;Israel. <\/p>\n<p>Ser\u00e9 pol\u00edticament incorrecte, perqu\u00e8 dir que jo no hauria signat la carta de boicot a l&#8217;auspici del Consolat d&#8217;Israel a la Biennal de Sao Paulo, suposa per a molts que dono suport les accions militars d&#8217;Israel a la Franja de Gaza. Avui en dia si dic que Bar Refaeli est\u00e0 bona vol dir que s\u00f3c un sionista genocida. No ho hauria signat perqu\u00e8 \u00e9s confusa, insuficient i incoherent. <\/p>\n<p>Qui m\u00e9s, qui menys, t\u00e9 la informaci\u00f3 suficient per afirmar que la pol\u00edtica israeliana a Palestina \u00e9s condemnable, deplorable, vomitiva. Les meves armes per a fer \u201cquelcom\u201d s\u00f3n expressar aquesta opini\u00f3, \u201cper parlat\u201d i per escrit, a menys que em decideixi a anar a Jerusalem a enredar-me a pedrades contra els soldats. No ho descarto.<\/p>\n<p>Recapitulem. El Consolat d&#8217;Israel afavoreix la Biennal de Sao Paulo. 55 artistes dels 80 presents signen una carta en qu\u00e8 demanen retirar aquest suport, ja que aquest auspici &#8220;representava que la Biennal donava suport a les accions militars d&#8217;Israel a la Franja de Gaza&#8221;, i que &#8220;acceptar aquest finan\u00e7ament soscava el nostre treball art\u00edstic en aquesta Biennal i l&#8217;utilitza de manera impl\u00edcita per rentar la cara a les agressions i violacions del dret internacional i els drets humans per part d&#8217;Israel&#8221;. Ambdues premisses s\u00f3n falses. Ni la Biennal d\u00f3na suport a les accions militars d&#8217;Israel per acceptar un auspici del consolat (aquesta \u00e9s una conclusi\u00f3 malvada), ni el fet que aquest mateix organisme aporti 40.000 euros soscava el treball art\u00edstic de ning\u00fa. El cas \u00e9s que la Biennal es va comprometre a cancel\u00b7lar l&#8217;auspici a la Biennal, (per il\u00b7lustrar aquest boicot, dos gu\u00e0rdies de seguretat es van col\u00b7locar davant del logo del Consolat israeli\u00e0 a la inauguraci\u00f3, acci\u00f3 que em recorda a la censura de l&#8217;obra &#8220;El Bany&#8221; de Roberto Plat\u00e9, l\u2019any 1966), per\u00f2 no als artistes israelites que volunt\u00e0riament acceptessin aquests diners. Aix\u00f2 pot degenerar en quelcom perill\u00f3s: si els consolats, ambaixades, govern,s nom\u00e9s financen als seus artistes, s&#8217;acabar\u00e0 polititzant la participaci\u00f3 forana de la Biennal, i es multiplicaran casos com el del Pavell\u00f3 Argent\u00ed de la Biennal de Ven\u00e8cia 2013: propaganda pol\u00edtica. <\/p>\n<p>Aquesta an\u00e0lisi ser\u00e0 considerada pol\u00edticament incorrecte. Per\u00f2 la que ha estat una operaci\u00f3 pol\u00edticament incorrecta ha estat, al meu entendre, la dels artistes boicotejadors. Aquests s\u00f3n els arguments: <\/p>\n<p>Hi ha altres logos que representen empreses i governs corruptes. \u00bfBoicotegem nom\u00e9s aquells dels quals en tenim not\u00edcia? Si no boicotegem a Petrobras \u00e9s perqu\u00e8 estem d&#8217;acord amb els tripijocs pol\u00edtics mafiosos? Si no boicotegem el Govern del Brasil estem donant suport als seus pol\u00edtics corruptes, a la passivitat davant la quantitat ingent de pobres que hi ha als carrers de Sao Paulo, a la seva pol\u00edtica discriminat\u00f2ria contra els ind\u00edgenes&#8230;? Si no boicotegem el suport espanyol, estem d&#8217;acord amb la pol\u00edtica de privatitzaci\u00f3 de la salut i l\u2019educaci\u00f3, amb el rescat europeu, amb l&#8217;abs\u00e8ncia de mem\u00f2ria hist\u00f2rica&#8230;? Si no boicotegem tots els diners provinents del Govern dels Estats Units i d&#8217;empreses nord-americanes, estem col\u00b7laborant amb un ferm aliat estrat\u00e8gic d&#8217;Israel, amb un pa\u00eds que va fer una guerra il\u00b7legal? <\/p>\n<p>Hi ha artistes israelites a la Biennal. Al costat del seu nom apareix el seu pa\u00eds d&#8217;origen; representen una nacionalitat. \u00bfPressuposem que donen suport a la pol\u00edtica del seu govern? Els boicotegem? <\/p>\n<p>Obliguem al Consolat d&#8217;Israel a retornar el seu auspici \u00bfAix\u00f2 incidir\u00e0 en la pol\u00edtica assassina del seu govern? Anul\u00b7lant el suport a la cultura i l&#8217;art d&#8217;aquest pa\u00eds s&#8217;est\u00e0 donant suport a Gaza? <\/p>\n<p>\u00bfNo es podia haver fet alguna cosa m\u00e9s activa (i efica\u00e7) que amena\u00e7ar amb retirar obres? Hi ha exemples d&#8217;altres vies de rebuig a la Biennal de Sydney. En aquesta, la principal sponsor, Transfield (companyia operadora d&#8217;un centre de detencions per a refugiats i favorable a la racista pol\u00edtica migrat\u00f2ria australiana) va ser boicotejada pels artistes. La Biennal no ha claudicat, i els artistes han retirat les seves obres. Per\u00f2 en comptes de quedar-se \u00fanicament amb aquest gest, han organitzar xerrades, tallers, publicacions i exposicions que tenen com a eix la condemna dels centres de detenci\u00f3 per a refugiats. Un altre exemple valu\u00f3s, relatiu a la pr\u00f2pia Biennal de Sao Paulo, va ser la &#8220;Contrabienal&#8221; de 1971, en la qual un grup d&#8217;artistes van realitzar un boicot art\u00edstic, amb una publicaci\u00f3 i diferents comunicats, a la biennal d&#8217;aquell any, finan\u00e7ada per diners p\u00fablic (en aquesta d\u00e8cada hi havia una dictadura al Brasil) \u00bfno podrien haver plantejat una cosa aix\u00ed els artistes de la Biennal de Sao Paulo? <\/p>\n<p>S\u00f3n massa preguntes com per donar suport a aquesta carta de boicot. Seria secundada si inclogu\u00e9s boicot tot finan\u00e7ament brut, i si inclogu\u00e9s accions informatives, creatives i art\u00edstiques directes denunciant els problemes que ens afecten. Per\u00f2 s\u00ed que cont\u00e9 un par\u00e0graf que crec, \u00e9s valu\u00f3s i esperan\u00e7ador: Els artistes d&#8217;aquest esdeveniment mostren que tenen la determinaci\u00f3 de demanar transpar\u00e8ncia pel que fa a l&#8217;auspici d&#8217;esdeveniments culturals i han plantejat l&#8217;aspecte fonamental de com el finan\u00e7ament pot comprometre i soscavar el seu treball. Posen sobre la taula un debat encara m\u00e9s urgent: el d&#8217;investigar a fons la forma de finan\u00e7ament, no nom\u00e9s dels esdeveniments d&#8217;art, sin\u00f3 del mercat (compra-venda d&#8217;obres). Un organisme independent hauria d&#8217;encarregar-se\u2019n, amb coher\u00e8ncia i contund\u00e8ncia. <\/p>\n<p>De manera contr\u00e0ria, \u00e9s m\u00e9s efectiu el que pugui fer l&#8217;artista des de la seva tasca. A la Biennal hi ha hagut diversos exemples d&#8217;un art comprom\u00e8s i valent, com els treballs de Clara Ianni i D\u00e9bora Maria da Silva, L\u00e1zaro Saavedra, Wilhelm Sasnal, Etc\u00e9tera, Mujeres Creando, Voluspa Jarpa, Ines Doujak i John Barker, Marta Neves, Dan i Lia Perjovschi, Jakob Jakobsen i Mar\u00eda Berr\u00edos o Juan Carlos Romero. Ells entre d&#8217;altres, han expressat millor que ning\u00fa la for\u00e7a de l&#8217;oposici\u00f3 que l&#8217;artista pot exercir contra les injust\u00edcies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019actual Biennal de Sao Paulo ser\u00e0 recordada com la m\u00e9s pol\u00edtica (o polititzada), fins al moment.
