Per\u00f2 i si el so fos el mateix discurs?<\/p>\n<p>Fa m\u00e9s d&#8217;un segle es va crear un mitj\u00e0 de comunicaci\u00f3 que, a difer\u00e8ncia d&#8217;altres tecnologies (i malgrat elles), continua estranyament vigent: la r\u00e0dio. Aquesta perman\u00e8ncia es deu, entre d\u2019altres raons, al fet que s&#8217;ha convertit al llarg dels anys en un mitj\u00e0 de comunicaci\u00f3 multifac\u00e8tic, incloent entre les seves possibilitats la funci\u00f3 informativa, l&#8217;eina pol\u00edtica i l&#8217;instrument art\u00edstic.<\/p>\n<p>La utilitzaci\u00f3 de la r\u00e0dio com a eina de composici\u00f3 i difusi\u00f3 de peces art\u00edstiques-sonores ha estat des dels seus inicis (a finals dels anys vint) una important pr\u00e0ctica art\u00edstica, que d&#8217;alguna manera ha perm\u00e8s tamb\u00e9 la superviv\u00e8ncia de la r\u00e0dio a la revoluci\u00f3 tecnol\u00f2gica dels noranta i al seu continu desenvolupament actual. A dia d\u2019avui segueixen en peu aquells projectes art\u00edstics-sonors basats en les qualitats democr\u00e0tiques de la difusi\u00f3 de la r\u00e0dio, per establir-se com un espai d&#8217;exposici\u00f3 per al so o com una obra radiof\u00f2nica en si mateixa, tal com ho proposarien els futuristes a principi del segle XX, i com ho implementarien m\u00e9s tard artistes com Jean Tinguely, Vito Acconsi o John Cage, entre molts altres.<\/p>\n<p>Des d&#8217;una perspectiva pol\u00edtica, \u00e9s a partir de la d\u00e8cada dels setanta, i despr\u00e9s d&#8217;una llarga i conflictiva hist\u00f2ria al voltant de la privatitzaci\u00f3 de les r\u00e0dios, que neixen les anomenades &#8220;r\u00e0dios lliures&#8221; a Europa, les quals defensaven les emissions gratu\u00eftes, independents i sense \u00e0nim de lucre. Aquestes r\u00e0dios, com la pionera <em>R\u00e0dio Alice<\/em> a Bolonya, van significar un nou tipus de llibertat, transformant-se en espais interdisciplinaris de comunicaci\u00f3, de contracultura, d&#8217;activisme i de resist\u00e8ncia a discursos hegem\u00f2nics tant art\u00edstics com pol\u00edtics. A m\u00e9s es van convertir en la base ideol\u00f2gica dels projectes de r\u00e0dio-art de l&#8217;actualitat.<\/p>\n<p>El nom de <em>Radio Art<\/em> es refereix a aquelles obres sonores que utilitzen la r\u00e0dio com a mitj\u00e0 de creaci\u00f3 o difusi\u00f3. \u00c9s una pr\u00e0ctica art\u00edstica que est\u00e0 plena de met\u00e0fores, entre elles, la r\u00e0dio com a instrument i el so com a llenguatge. Una obra radiof\u00f2nica pot ser qualsevol tipus de so em\u00e8s per una r\u00e0dio amb finalitats art\u00edstiques, ja siguin composicions abstractes (anomenades tamb\u00e9 <em>soundscape<\/em> o paisatge sonor), poesia sonora, m\u00fasica <em>noise<\/em>, assaigs sonors, performances de veu, entre molts altres estils.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;any 2006 el m\u00fasic su\u00eds Jonathan Frigeri va fundar <em><a href=\" http:\/\/www.zonoff.net\">Zonoff<\/a><\/em> a Ginebra, dos anys despr\u00e9s va traslladar el projecte a Berl\u00edn, per acabar posicionant-se fermament a l\u2019escena sonora no institucional de la capital alemanya. <em>Zonoff<\/em> \u00e9s una plataforma independent que crea i promou la m\u00fasica experimental i l&#8217;art sonor des de diferents formats, com festivals, gravacions i, especialment, projectes de r\u00e0dio. Des del seu origen, <em>Zonoff<\/em> ha organitzat m\u00faltiples programes radials, alguns d&#8217;ells itinerants, amb artistes internacionals, performances en viu i r\u00e0dio-emissions simult\u00e0nies. Aquests projectes han estat constru\u00efts al voltant de la idea impl\u00edcita de crear comunitat, prop\u00f2sit que es troba profundament arrelat en els or\u00edgens de la r\u00e0dio. Brecht, escriu a &#8220;Radio as an Apparatus For Communication&#8221; (1932) sobre una <em>audi\u00e8ncia activa<\/em>, destacant la import\u00e0ncia de la possibilitat de comunicaci\u00f3 de la r\u00e0dio per sobre de la de distribuci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/radio-picnic.zonoff.net\/?section=about\">Radio Picnic<\/a><\/em> \u00e9s potser el projecte m\u00e9s gran de r\u00e0dio organitzat per <em>Zonoff<\/em>, i reflecteix els principis art\u00edstics i curatorials en els quals aquest es basa. Es tracta d&#8217;una resid\u00e8ncia, comissariada per Selene Mauvis i Jonathan Frigeri, per a m\u00fasics, artistes i investigadors que treballen amb el format de la r\u00e0dio per explorar les seves possibilitats socials i musicals-sonores. Durant la setmana de resid\u00e8ncia, els artistes conviuen amb els organitzadors, generant aix\u00ed una inst\u00e0ncia \u00edntima d&#8217;intercanvis creatius, per finalment fer un programa radiof\u00f2nic transm\u00e8s en viu des de <em><a href=\" http:\/\/www.laptopradio.org\">Laptopradio<\/a><\/em>, i despr\u00e9s re-em\u00e8s a <em><a href=\" http:\/\/senderberlin.org\">Freiesradio<\/a><\/em> Berl\u00edn i Potsdam, a m\u00e9s de la <em><a href=\" http:\/\/www.radioartemobile.it\">R\u00e0dio Art Mobile<\/a><\/em> a Roma. En les emissions finals s&#8217;han barrejat diferents estrat\u00e8gies sonores, com veu; sorolls trobats; m\u00fasica; <em>soundscape<\/em>; errors; assaigs sonors; poesia; <em>soundcollage<\/em>, entre d&#8217;altres.<\/p>\n<p>Els projectes fins ara realitzats a <em>Radio Picnic<\/em> s\u00f3n variats, encara que comparteixen la import\u00e0ncia del proc\u00e9s creatiu i de l&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia mateixa per sobre de la del resultat final. Es basa en un proc\u00e9s comunitari no jer\u00e0rquic que, d&#8217;una banda, q\u00fcestiona la pres\u00e8ncia d&#8217;una instituci\u00f3 en els projectes sonors i el paper del curador en la seva din\u00e0mica amb els artistes, i per l\u2019altra, defensa la funci\u00f3 de la r\u00e0dio com un mitj\u00e0 art\u00edstic de comunicaci\u00f3 lliure i p\u00fablic. Aquest \u00faltim \u00e9s un punt clau, en tant que el format radiof\u00f2nic es manifesta aqu\u00ed com una forma de col\u00b7lectivitat, tant en el proc\u00e9s col\u00b7laboratiu-creatiu com en el d&#8217;emissi\u00f3 i recepci\u00f3. \u00c9s a dir, amb el mateix principi de comunitat del pensament brechti\u00e0, aquell que va unir a les primeres r\u00e0dio-emissions lliures dels anys setanta a It\u00e0lia i Fran\u00e7a, per\u00f2 aquesta vegada amb un discurs sonor m\u00e9s proper a l&#8217;obra de Cage i al manifest de Russolo de 1913, que cridava a &#8220;conquerir la varietat infinita dels sons-sorolls&#8221; [[Luigi Russolo. L&#8217;Art dei Rumori, 1913]].<\/p>\n<p>S\u00f3n obres que comencen i acaben pel so, les quals han de ser enteses des de l&#8217;escolta, i aqu\u00ed justament radica el seu propi discurs. \u00c9s un tipus de performance, on el so transita per la r\u00e0dio, capa\u00e7 d&#8217;assolir tots els espais, o com ho planteja Frigeri &#8220;visitar l en la seva pr\u00f2pia cuina&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>En moments en qu\u00e8 ho podem fer pr\u00e0cticament tot per internet, es podria q\u00fcestionar l&#8217;especificitat de la r\u00e0dio com a mitj\u00e0 per traspassar fronteres ling\u00fc\u00edstiques i geogr\u00e0fiques.
