Un inspector d&#8217;obra troba una estranya caixa sota el pont de Brooklyn. Escrit sobre ella: &#8220;Per utilitzar nom\u00e9s despr\u00e9s d\u2019atac enemic&#8221;. Data: &#8220;1957&#8221;. La caixa es porta a un laboratori, on es determina que \u00e9s una c\u00e0psula del temps. Un dispositiu en el qual s&#8217;introdueixen objectes, documents, llavors, etc., creat en el passat perqu\u00e8 sigui obert al futur. En aquest cas, projectat durant la paranoica \u00e8poca de la Guerra Freda per ser desempaquetat en cas d&#8217;atac nuclear. Els experts obren aquesta caixa. Un paquet. El desemboliquen. Aproximadament 352.000 galetes salades. Una sensaci\u00f3 agredol\u00e7a recorre el cos dels experts. M\u00e9s agra que dol\u00e7a.<br \/>\nDiversos projectes art\u00edstics es basen, des de fa cert temps, en la idea de la c\u00e0psula de temps per reflexionar sobre, m\u00e9s que del futur, del present. Obres d&#8217;art pensades per ser vistes pels espectadors del dem\u00e0. La idea de l&#8217;artista que no treballa pressionat pel mercat, per les modes, ni tan sols per l&#8217;espectador coetani, arriba aqu\u00ed una nova dimensi\u00f3. Concretament, la quarta.<\/p>\n<p>Recentment l&#8217;artista Isabel Marcos, al Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo va proposar <em>Un futur aix\u00ed explicat<\/em>. A trav\u00e9s d&#8217;una guia del futur, Zhora Burgue (interpretada per Isabel Burguete) mostrava als espectadors una s\u00e8rie d&#8217;objectes que li servien per interpretar els esdeveniments ocorreguts a M\u00f3stoles, on hi ha el CA2M, des del 2015 fins al 2025. Guerres mundials, conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies del canvi clim\u00e0tic, revoltes&#8230; explicat a trav\u00e9s de pedres, fulles o bancs. Humor, reflexi\u00f3 i futur en un mateix projecte art\u00edstic.<\/p>\n<p>No sabem si Marc coneixia les <em>Time capsules<\/em> llan\u00e7ades per Andy Warhol, (de les que, com les d\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/highlights\/Time-capsule-Ant-Farm,1789.html\">Ant Farm<\/a> ja es va parlar fa un temps a <a href=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/highlights\/Time-capsule-Andy-Warhol.html\">A*DESK)<\/a>. Warhol va comen\u00e7ar a guardar coses l\u2019any 1974. Va crear 612 c\u00e0psules del temps. L&#8217;artista va escriure sobre elles en el seu diari: &#8220;Algun dia les vendr\u00e9 per 4.000 o 5.000 d\u00f2lars cada una. Abans pensava que en cobraria 100, per\u00f2 ara crec que aquest \u00e9s el meu nou preu&#8221;. Warhol va morir el 1987, i les seves caixes van ser obertes l\u2019any 1994, amb informaci\u00f3 sobre la seva vida quotidiana. Qu\u00e8 esper\u00e0veu d&#8217;un artista egoc\u00e8ntric, galetes salades?<\/p>\n<p>La idea d&#8217;Iv\u00e1n Argote i Pauline Bastard \u00e9s m\u00e9s participativa. El 2013 van dissenyar la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.munichtimecapsule.de\"><em>Munich Time Capsule<\/em><\/a>, que va recol\u00b7lectar missatges, documents i desitjos dels ciutadans de Munic per ser custodiats durant 100 anys i desvetllats al 2113 (hi ha una petici\u00f3 perqu\u00e8 s&#8217;exposi en aquesta data a la mateixa ciutat). El continent roman ocult dins d&#8217;una roca buida, que vam poder veure exhibida en l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 col\u00b7lectiva comissariada per Sonia Fern\u00e1ndez Pan <a href=\"http:\/\/lacapella.bcn.cat\/ca\/exposicions\/el-futur-no-espera\">El futur no espera<\/a> (a La Capella, Barcelona, 2014). Encara es poden enviar missatges.<\/p>\n<p>Un any despr\u00e9s d&#8217;aix\u00f2 que no veurem, perqu\u00e8 estarem morts (jo segur), es podran llegir els llibres de <em>La biblioteca del futur<\/em> a Oslo, impulsada per l&#8217;artista escocesa Katie Paterson. Cada any convida a un escriptor a enviar un manuscrit original que ser\u00e0 llegit al 2114. Entre d&#8217;altres, ja ha enviat el seu text Margaret Atwood. La biblioteca que els acollir\u00e0 estar\u00e0 a punt el 2018, i els arbres que proveiran de fulles als volums ja han estat plantats. Llibres escrits per a gent que encara no ha nascut.<\/p>\n<p>Un altre parell de projectes, m\u00e9s modestos, si que estan pensats per poder ser descoberts en vida. El primer es troba al Centre-Museu Artium, en qu\u00e8 els ciutadans de Vit\u00f2ria van allotjar el que van voler dins d&#8217;una c\u00e0psula del temps que ser\u00e0 revelada el maig del 2022. A Xile tamb\u00e9 es va fer una experi\u00e8ncia &#8220;in progress&#8221;, que finalitzar\u00e0 el 2022. L&#8217;espai <em>Local<\/em>, de Santiago de Xile, va convocar per a una exposici\u00f3 a vuit artistes joves, que van signar, juntament amb els propietaris de <em>Local<\/em>, un contracte pel qual es comprometien a tornar a exposar junts al citat 2022. Una experi\u00e8ncia que ironitza amb el concepte d'&#8221;artista emergent&#8221;, dels contractes de les galeries comercials i del circuit art\u00edstic xil\u00e8. Qui sap si a la seg\u00fcent d\u00e8cada els vuit artistes s\u00f3n vuit &#8220;Alfredos Jaar&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Esperem que aquest projecte no surti tan fluix com la <em>C\u00e0psula del temps<\/em> que va organitzar el col\u00b7lectiu Agencia de Viaje amb motiu de l&#8217;Exposici\u00f3 Universal Sevilla 92. Es convidava a la gent a donar objectes i missatges per al futur, incrustant-los en una mena de riu de lava petrificada que, fins i tot veient-ne nom\u00e9s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OAF7CH6u4ws\">les imatges<\/a>, transmet mala olor. Com a curiositat, aquesta obra va ser pr\u00e8viament <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefileroom.org\/documents\/dyn\/DisplayCase.cfm\/id\/295\">censurada<\/a> a la ciutat que l&#8217;anava a acollir en un principi, C\u00f2rdova, per embolics pol\u00edtics (no per la seva lletjor).<\/p>\n<p>Per fer aquesta nyap, millor &#8220;faci-ho vost\u00e8 mateix!&#8221;. Hi ha <a href=\" http:\/\/www.timeinacapsule.com\">webs<\/a> en qu\u00e8 s&#8217;explica, de forma senzilla, com elaborar la teva pr\u00f2pia c\u00e0psula del temps. Perqu\u00e8 la vegin els teus n\u00e9ts, perqu\u00e8 sigui usada despr\u00e9s d&#8217;un atac enemic, o perqu\u00e8 els humans del futur descobreixin les coses que als humans del passat els preocupaven en el seu present. Et trobar\u00e0s davant d&#8217;una estranya sensaci\u00f3; per qu\u00e8 deixar records al futur?<\/p>\n<p>Analitzant els exemples exposats, poden entreveure\u2019s diverses motivacions; des d&#8217;un egocentrisme atemporal (Andy Warhol), un gest d&#8217;alerta sobre problemes ecol\u00f2gics, pol\u00edtics i socials (Isabel Marcos), la paranoia de la Guerra Freda, una reflexi\u00f3 sobre la &#8220;carrera de l&#8217;artista&#8221; (Local) o un impuls experimental, juganer, que fins i tot frega l&#8217;absurd (Argote i Bastard, Paterson).<\/p>\n<p>La reflexi\u00f3 amplia les seves possibilitats: per a qui treballa l&#8217;artista i com aix\u00f2 modifica la seva manera d&#8217;abordar el treball? M\u00e9s interessant que mai; l&#8217;art \u00e9s avui una eina interactiva que necessita de l&#8217;espectador, l&#8217;artista viu del feedback. Roman latent la teoria exposada per Boris Groys (Pol\u00edtica de la immortalitat, Ed. Katz, 2008), i el canvi de paradigma del creador, que ja no especula amb el &#8220;llegar una obra per a la posteritat&#8221; sin\u00f3 que naufraga en un &#8220;Sempre\/encara&#8221; (per recordar l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.garcia-lorca.org\/Actividades\/ActividadFicha.aspx?Act_Id=8\">Everstill<\/a> comissariada per Hans Ulrich Obrist a la Casa-Museu de Lorca a Granada el 2007). En un present en el qual &#8220;Tot passa ara&#8221; (Present Shock. When everything happens now, Douglas Rushkoff, Ed. Current, 2013) continuem la indagaci\u00f3 del \u201cper a qu\u00e8 serveix l&#8217;art\u201d.
