Imagen cedida por Abboundara\" align=\"left\" width=\"670\" height=\"463\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Sorry-for-this-technical-failure-1280.jpg 670w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Sorry-for-this-technical-failure-1280-579x400.jpg 579w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Escric aquest text a partir de dos moments condicionants: el de visitar la <em>Biennale<\/em> en els dies d&#8217;inauguraci\u00f3 &#8211; sense prejudicis, sense haver llegit res, recent aterrada &#8211; i el d&#8217;aquest text; passat un mes i havent llegit bastanta cr\u00edtica sobre Ven\u00e8cia, tant de nacional com d\u2019internacional. Des de la redacci\u00f3 d&#8217;A*Desk em van proposar escriure sobre l\u2019\u201coff Biennale\u201d, quelcom perif\u00e8ric i subjectiu, aix\u00ed que aix\u00f2 no parlar\u00e0 dels continguts dels pavellons, m\u00e9s aviat de cr\u00edtica; temps; \u00e0liens i emocions. Aquest text tamb\u00e9 invertir\u00e0 la direcci\u00f3 del temps, de manera que abans de l&#8217;experi\u00e8ncia visitant Ven\u00e8cia, comen\u00e7ar\u00e0 per la posterior, la cr\u00edtica publicada.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed, en (molt) resumit, el que s&#8217;ha dit en general sobre la Biennal de Ven\u00e8cia 2015: a tothom li va agradar Alemanya, Estats Units i B\u00e8lgica, per\u00f2 despr\u00e9s el premi se&#8217;l va endur Arm\u00e8nia; i Okwui Enwezor ho va fer malament. Als pocs dies d&#8217;haver inaugurat, a la premsa apareixia cert consens, hi havia molta coincid\u00e8ncia i poc risc a l&#8217;hora de parlar del millor i del pitjor dels Giardini, del Pavell\u00f3 Central, de l\u2019Arsenale i de la resta de pavellons nacionals escampats per Ven\u00e8cia. \u00bfCom s\u2019ho fan algunes persones per signar textos en qu\u00e8 sembla que s&#8217;ha vist i analitzat al detall tant en tan poc temps? Imagino que a part de veure art, la gent que va visitar Ven\u00e8cia la setmana de la inauguraci\u00f3, tamb\u00e9 va fer vida social i va acudir a les festes aquestes que es fan al m\u00f3n de l&#8217;art perqu\u00e8 amb l&#8217;alcohol sembli m\u00e9s f\u00e0cil fer amics. Suposo que tamb\u00e9 van parar en algun moment per menjar i descansar.<\/p>\n<p>De vegades m&#8217;imagino alguns cr\u00edtics amb l\u00e0ser als ulls, escanejant un pavell\u00f3 en un minut i sent capa\u00e7os d&#8217;omplir despr\u00e9s dos folis de veredicte. El resultat de tanta velocitat \u00e9s que despr\u00e9s surten textos molt semblants i acabes llegint la mateixa <em>Biennale<\/em> tota l&#8217;estona en diferents idiomes i versions. Una <em>Biennale<\/em> que per cert, jo no vaig veure; o m\u00e9s aviat una de diferent de la que vaig veure. Perqu\u00e8 per comen\u00e7ar, no la vaig veure sencera (aix\u00f2 sona lleig i comprometedor de dir si has de fer una cr\u00edtica, confessar que no t&#8217;ho vas mirar tot) i l&#8217;atenci\u00f3 es va desviar cap a d\u2019altres costats. El proc\u00e9s de menjar-te una biennal pot ser lent i dens, comptant per exemple que a la qual t&#8217;aturis a mirar tres o quatre v\u00eddeos que t&#8217;agradin, ja ocupes una bona estona. La <em>Biennale<\/em> que vaig veure va ser fragment\u00e0ria, amb diferents ritmes i amb derives per la ciutat, converses en terrasses i esgl\u00e9sies barroques barrejant-se amb art contemporani.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, ser-hi els primers dies afegeix aquest element irreal i endog\u00e0mic del sector, quan la pres\u00e8ncia de tota la pir\u00e0mide social de l&#8217;art internacional es concentra durant una setmana en una ciutat. Fantasiejar per un segon amb qu\u00e8 a Ven\u00e8cia aquests dies ens cau un meteorit gegant o s&#8217;enfonsa al mar tota la ciutat de cop. Els dies d&#8217;inauguraci\u00f3 s\u00f3n de molt soroll i poca claredat. Per trobar un lloc tranquil cal prendre una mica de dist\u00e0ncia i allunyar-se del rumor general. Passar del que s&#8217;ha dit i tornar al punt d&#8217;origen.<\/p>\n<p>Okwui Enwezor, el comissari general de la <em>Biennale 2015<\/em>, va utilitzar l\u2019<em>Angelus Novus<\/em> de Paul Klee descrit per Walter Benjamin com a met\u00e0fora i leitmotiv d&#8217;aquesta edici\u00f3. Proposo la imatge d&#8217;un \u00e0lien &#8211; remix extravagant de l\u2019<em>Angelus Novus<\/em> &#8211; per acompanyar aquest relat. Un \u00e0lien que canvia el <em>Kapital<\/em> de Karl Marx pel <em>Cyborg Manifest<\/em> de Donna Haraway. Total, Donna Haraway ja utilitza la teoria marxista i el materialisme hist\u00f2ric com a base te\u00f2rica afegint feminisme, aix\u00ed que la cosa millora si <em>Das Kapital<\/em> es torna queer. A m\u00e9s, Donna Haraway recorre a la imatge del cyborg com Walter Benjamin o Okwui Enwezor a la de l&#8217;\u00c0ngel de Paul Klee per parlar de les condicions de la hist\u00f2ria des de la contemporane\u00eftat. Aix\u00ed que t\u00e9 el seu sentit posar un \u00e0lien en tot aquest assumpte. D&#8217;acord, \u00e9s una mica estrany per\u00f2 funciona.<\/p>\n<p>Als \u00e0liens no els agrada la cr\u00edtica vuitcentista i la cr\u00edtica vuitcentista no creu en els \u00e0liens, aix\u00ed que en principi, tot b\u00e9. La figura de l&#8217;\u00e0lien \u00e9s l\u2019<em>off Biennale<\/em> i es despla\u00e7a per la mat\u00e8ria fosca del sistema, sentint-se fora de lloc en el context art per\u00f2 com a casa davant segons quines obres. Un \u00e0lien \u00e9s emocional, queer, feminista i anti-racista. Tot i que es desvia constantment, sempre mostra posicions clares. De vegades els \u00e0liens poden semblar una mica pesats a alguns, insistint sempre en preguntar el mateix: \u00bfqui t\u00e9 quins privilegis i a costa de qu\u00e8? Aquesta pregunta sobre el valor de les coses fa que els \u00e0liens donin la mateixa import\u00e0ncia a les paraules que als cossos, perqu\u00e8 saben que hi ha uns cossos que compten i uns altres que no. Finalment, els \u00e0liens no tenen g\u00e8nere o sexe definit ni p\u00e0tria. La seva \u00fanica bandera \u00e9s la de l&#8217;arc de Sant Mart\u00ed, i tot i que avancen sense ales entre la merda i les ru\u00efnes d&#8217;aquest m\u00f3n, els \u00e0liens deixen darrere seu un rastre brillant de purpurina i plomes, perqu\u00e8 els agrada el rotllo <em>drag<\/em> i els \u00e9s una mica igual si als altres els sembla vulgar.<\/p>\n<p>Em van fer bategar de la Biennale les obres o pavellons on aquest \u00e0lien s&#8217;hagu\u00e9s sentit com a casa. Al cap i a la fi, un \u00e0lien \u00e9s <em>l&#8217;altre<\/em>, i com deia Monique Wittig: &#8220;qu\u00e8 \u00e9s all\u00f2 altre \/ diferent si no all\u00f2 dominat?&#8221; Doncs aix\u00f2, em van agradar les situacions i obres on all\u00f2 diferent era agenciat, all\u00f2 vulnerable exposat sense por, i la resist\u00e8ncia es mostrava com una forma l\u00fadica de q\u00fcestionar i desmuntar la norma dominant. Em conformo amb fragments i buits, amb no haver-ho vist tot i haver oblidat alguns noms. Aix\u00ed queda m\u00e9s espai i temps per al que val la pena.<\/p>\n<p>Visitar una biennal consisteix b\u00e0sicament en aix\u00f2; rebre molta informaci\u00f3 que cadascuna editar\u00e0 a la seva manera.
