{"id":9702,"date":"2017-03-06T01:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-03-06T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/2017\/03\/06\/recuperar-el-control3484\/"},"modified":"2023-07-10T12:29:42","modified_gmt":"2023-07-10T10:29:42","slug":"recuperar-el-control3484","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/ca\/magazine\/recuperar-el-control3484\/","title":{"rendered":"Recuperar el control"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-9701\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/diy_catala_.jpg\" alt=\"diy_catala_.jpg\" align=\"left\" width=\"670\" height=\"882\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/diy_catala_.jpg 670w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/diy_catala_-304x400.jpg 304w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Autogesti\u00f3<\/em> \u00e9s una exposici\u00f3 que perfectament podria subtitular-se \u201cEl m\u00f3n segons Antonio Ortega\u201d, perqu\u00e8 \u00e9s una mostra que ens permet endinsar-nos en la ment (crec que V\u00edctor Valent\u00edn la va descriure exactament aix\u00ed) del seu art\u00edfex, Antonio Ortega, una de les mirades m\u00e9s l\u00facides del panorama art\u00edstic actual, tal com s&#8217;evidencia des de la coher\u00e8ncia del seu treball, en el qual s&#8217;engloben les seves obres, confer\u00e8ncies performatives, la seva activitat com a \u201cartista terciari\u201d en la seva etapa de responsable de programes p\u00fablics del Centre d&#8217;Art Santa M\u00f2nica (2003-2008), la seva tesi doctoral i posterior publicaci\u00f3 sobre el proc\u00e9s de monopolitzaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;art per part de la instituci\u00f3, titulat <em>Demagogia y propaganda en arte seg\u00fan Antonio Ortega<\/em> i la seva activitats com a professor a l&#8217;Escola Massana. <\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;exposici\u00f3 que ara comissaria a la Fundaci\u00f3 Mir\u00f3 aborda el tema de l&#8217;autogesti\u00f3, del qual naturalment, se&#8217;n deriven nombrosos subtemes com s\u00f3n l&#8217;empoderament, el control sobre el propi treball, el <em>DIY<\/em> (<em>Do it yourself<\/em>), per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 el <em>DIWO<\/em> (<em>Do it with others<\/em>), les alternatives al sistema, la cultura de l&#8217;emprenedor i la precarietat, entre altres. <\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;autogesti\u00f3 \u00e9s ara mateix una pr\u00e0ctica m\u00e9s que habitual i, segurament, el 60 % dels artistes i comissaris estan treballant ara mateix des d&#8217;aquest par\u00e0metres, amb la qual cosa, resulta pertinent preguntar-se si l&#8217;autogesti\u00f3 \u00e9s una elecci\u00f3, el resultat de la generalitzaci\u00f3 de certes eines de producci\u00f3 i distribuci\u00f3 que permeten aquesta possibilitat o \u00e9s una conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de la crisi econ\u00f2mica. Per tot aix\u00f2, Ortega planteja un recorregut per algunes d&#8217;aquestes pr\u00e0ctiques i s&#8217;atura especialment en certs gestos voluntaris d&#8217;artistes consagrats i reconeguts que, en un moment determinat, opten amb tota la consci\u00e8ncia del m\u00f3n per aquests gests d&#8217;empoderament puntuals (estem parlant de Gilbert &#038; George, Hern\u00e1ndez Pijoan i del mateix Joan Mir\u00f3, en cremar una de les seves teles, de manera absolutament controlada i subvertint tot all\u00f2 que s&#8217;esperava d&#8217;ell en aquell moment). <\/p>\n<p>En certa manera, l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s autogestionada, en el sentit que el comissari, artista tamb\u00e9, ha assumit el control de nombroses decisions que habitualment estan predeterminades per la instituci\u00f3. En primer lloc, emfasitzant i confirmant la seva autoritat per parlar d&#8217;aquest tema, que queda legitimat de diverses maneres: per la naturalesa del seu propi treball, sovint en la l\u00ednia del <em>DIY<\/em>; per haver exposat pr\u00e8viament diferents espais autogestionats (Fireplace i Espai Colona) i, <em>last but not least<\/em>, per q\u00fcestionar cont\u00ednuament la seva autoritat en parlar del tema: En el seu text al cat\u00e0leg, en el qual introdueix amb mod\u00e8stia \u201cdeu sospites\u201d que s\u00f3n completades (i avalades) per l&#8217;autoritat de Pilar Bonet, en la seva qualitat d&#8217;historiadora, cr\u00edtica d&#8217;art i professora de la Universitat de Barcelona. A l&#8217;exposici\u00f3, les correccions i observacions afegides als textos dels plafons introductoris, van de la ma de l&#8217;artista Mariona Moncunill que no dubta en matisar moltes de les afirmacions del comissari. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-9696\" src=\"http:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/marionamoncunill_ok.jpg\" alt=\"Notas al pie, de Mariona Moncunill\" align=\"left\" width=\"670\" height=\"729\" srcset=\"https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/marionamoncunill_ok.jpg 670w, https:\/\/a-desk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/marionamoncunill_ok-368x400.jpg 368w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 670px) 100vw, 670px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Autogesti\u00f3<\/em> \u00e9s recuperar el control sobre la realitzaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;obra, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 sobre la seva distribuci\u00f3. A difer\u00e8ncia d&#8217;altres \u00e0mbits de la creaci\u00f3 (sobre tot el cine i la m\u00fasica) en els quals<br \/>\ns&#8217;han trobat f\u00f3rmules diverses de distribuci\u00f3 (des de plataformes <em>online<\/em>, P2P) i tamb\u00e9 de producci\u00f3 (com el <em>crowdfounding<\/em>, entre altres), en el context de l&#8217;art perviuen encara una s\u00e8rie de contradiccions: encara parlem de comercialitzar peces \u00faniques o edicions limitades d&#8217;unes obres realitzades amb mitjans que permeten una reproductibilitat il\u00b7limitada; de comprar i vendre objectes; d&#8217;accessos limitats; d&#8217;institucions que han crescut massa i els resulta dif\u00edcil adaptar-se a la flexibilitat i el dinamisme que els temps, les pr\u00e0ctiques art\u00edstiques i el p\u00fablic demanen; de poder o voler formar part de les ind\u00fastries culturals&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Autogesti\u00f3 t\u00e9 a veure amb recuperar el control sobre l&#8217;obra i sobre la seva distribuci\u00f3, sobre la imatge i els drets de comunicaci\u00f3. I, en aquest sentit, l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 presenta un exemple magn\u00edfic: els quadres pintats per Pere Llobera. Els quadres s\u00f3n tan fant\u00e0stics com la hist\u00f2ria que els precedeix. L&#8217;any 2014, Pere Llobera va comissariar la mostra col\u00b7lectiva <em>Una exposici\u00f3n luminosa<\/em>, a la galeria Esther Monturiol. La impossibilitat d&#8217;aconseguir una fotografia de Sigurdur Gudmundson va fer que el comissari, abans de renunciar a la imatge, la pint\u00e9s ell mateix i n&#8217;expos\u00e9s la pintura. I aquest \u00e9s l&#8217;enc\u00e0rrec que Antonio Ortega ha fet a Pere Llobera per aquesta exposici\u00f3 i el seu cat\u00e0leg. En un exemple m\u00e0xim d&#8217;autogesti\u00f3, Llobera es converteix en una mena \u201cd&#8217;impressora a l&#8217;oli\u201d (Lloberas dixit) reproductora d&#8217;aquelles obres d&#8217;artistes com Yoko Ono, Gilbert &#038; George o Piero Manzoni, entre altres, de manera que els drets de reproducci\u00f3 de les obres originals no aniran a cap entitat gestora, sin\u00f3 que es transformaran en honoraris per a Llobera. Fer-se amics (i enemics tamb\u00e9) forma part del proc\u00e9s d&#8217;autogesti\u00f3.  <\/p>\n<p>Per\u00f2 les estrat\u00e8gies d&#8217;autogesti\u00f3 en art no s\u00f3n m\u00e9s que un reflex de les f\u00f3rmules que estan ja implementades en altres \u00e0mbits de la societat i que tenen a veure amb la recerca d&#8217;alternatives per la producci\u00f3 i el consum responsables. Curiosament, el neoliberalisme m\u00e9s salvatge llegeix l&#8217;autogesti\u00f3 com una forma d\u2019emprenedoria: el mite del garatge, tal com recorda Rub\u00e9n Mart\u00ednez en el text del cat\u00e0leg, segons el qual un jove (s\u00ed, acostuma a ser \u201cell\u201d) al marge de les estructures empresarials aconsegueix crear alguna cosa nova que, immediatament dona pas a una <em>start-up<\/em> d&#8217;\u00e8xit i ell es converteix en un nou Steve Jobs que ens canvia la vida i de pas es fa multimilionari. Per\u00f2 \u00e9s clar, el que oblida aquest imaginari \u00e9s que al garatge hi acostuma a haver-hi un treball coral, molt m\u00e9s <em>DIWO<\/em> que <em>DIY<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>La realitat desmenteix finalment el mite i mostra l\u2019origen del mateix, la precarietat. Poc a afegir, a la vista dels recents informes publicats (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nebrija.com\/medios\/actualidadnebrija\/events\/presentacion-del-libro-la-actividad-economica-loslas-artistas-espana-la-fundacion-antonio-nebrija\/\"><em>La actividad econ\u00f3mica de los\/las artistas en Espa\u00f1a<\/em><\/a>, realitzat per Marta P\u00e9rez Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez i Isidro L\u00f3pez-Aparicio i el, encara en proc\u00e9s <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paac.cat\/p\/1\/282\/0\/Cartografia%20d%E2%80%99Artistes%20Visuals%20de%20Catalunya\">Cartograf\u00eda d\u2019artistes visuals de Catalunya<\/em><\/a>, que s&#8217;est\u00e0 preparant des de la PAAC, la Plataforma Assemble\u00e0ria d\u2019Artistes de Catalunya). Per aix\u00f2, ho deixem aqu\u00ed, no sense abans deixar a l&#8217;aire un parell de preguntes: \u00e9s l&#8217;autogesti\u00f3, ara mateix, fruit de la lliure elecci\u00f3? Respon a la utilitzaci\u00f3 d&#8217;eines espec\u00edfiques de distribuci\u00f3?
