Con obras de K\u00e4the Kollwitz, Georg Baselitz, Hans Arp o el mexicano Dr. Lakra, \u201cThe Circle Walked Casually\u201d es un ejercicio de exploraci\u00f3n, un archivo de im\u00e1genes posibles en medio del vac\u00edo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGenealog\u00eda\u201d es el nombre de un texto po\u00e9tico. Su autor, un m\u00fasico y poeta uruguayo de mediados del siglo XX: Felisberto Hern\u00e1ndez. \u00bfSu objeto? El romance entre una circunferencia y un tri\u00e1ngulo, una fantas\u00eda moderna en la que l\u00edneas rectas \u2013 imposibles \u2013 y figuras geom\u00e9tricas \u2013 la determinaci\u00f3n &#8211; que intuitivamente se acercan, se alejan, entrecruzan y dialogan en un relato entre f\u00edlme y prosa po\u00e9tica. Con el paso del tiempo y de las l\u00edneas, toda forma adquiere lugar. El relato entonces se construye: \u201cEn su cuento, Hern\u00e1ndez atribuye una vida secreta a los objetos inanimados. (\u2026) Esta idea de un viaje imaginario y de la relaci\u00f3n personal que se desarrolla entre formas abstractas caracteriza al concepto de la exposici\u00f3n, que est\u00e1 completamente libre de todo orden cronol\u00f3gico\u201d.  <\/p>\n<p>Victoria Noorthoorn, la argentina directora del Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires y miembro del Global Arts Advisory Council del Deutsche Bank hace un trazado en el que se organizan im\u00e1genes nunca antes reunidas. La escen\u00f3grafa Daniela Thomas y Felipe Tassara dan forma a esta aventura conceptual por medio de un dise\u00f1o que hereda a una forma propia del teatro: un riel recorre sinuosamente el cielo de la sala, articulando por medio de hilos a las im\u00e1genes elegidas a partir de un archivo visual aparentemente infinito. Una historia de la historia, un recorrido por la cultura como abstracci\u00f3n que deviene en representaci\u00f3n y juego espacial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00bfQu\u00e9 quieren las im\u00e1genes de nosotros? \u00bfHacia d\u00f3nde nos llevan? \u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo que les falta, qu\u00e9 necesitamos completar? \u00bfQu\u00e9 deseos hemos proyectado en ellas y qu\u00e9 forma tendr\u00e1n estos deseos cuando estos no son satisfechos, nos imponen exigencias y nos seducen a sentir y actuar de determinada manera?\u201c es la cita de W. J. T. Mitchell que el mexicano Erick Beltr\u00e1n traza a lo largo de un cat\u00e1logo-leporello, gu\u00eda de ruta y obra aut\u00f3noma  a la vez. <\/p>\n<p>Y es que la investigaci\u00f3n de Noorthoorn se traduce a un viaje imaginario inspirado en exposiciones modernas como \u201cThe First Papers of Surrealism\u201d realizada en Nueva York en 1942, para la cual Marcel Duchamp estir\u00f3 miles de yardas de cordel y las entrelaz\u00f3 como una telara\u00f1a, haciendo casi imposible el moverse por el espacio. Seg\u00fan explica el galerista y periodista Oliver Koerner von Gustorf, otro antecedente es \u201cla instalaci\u00f3n de la arquitecta Lina Bo Bardi para la exposici\u00f3n del Museo de Arte de Sao Paulo en la d\u00e9cada de 1950. Mont\u00f3 cientos de pinturas sobre cristales en medio del espacio iluminado del museo, provocando la impresi\u00f3n de que estaban suspendidas a la altura de la mirada\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMe atrevo a afirmar que la l\u00ednea curva que se expande por el espacio es una representaci\u00f3n fotogr\u00e1fica del proceso mental que es el comunicar las relaciones subyacentes entre las im\u00e1genes\u201d. El <em>componer<\/em> de Noorthoorn es dispersi\u00f3n y contenci\u00f3n a la vez. Como si se tratara de un Caballo de Troya a punto de develar su misi\u00f3n: la articulaci\u00f3n de toda fuerza conocida y extra\u00f1a. Entretejiendo una experiencia de circulaci\u00f3n en el espacio visual y concreto, traza las pautas y el destino de una t\u00e1ctica en medio del cuadriculado centro hist\u00f3rico de una ciudad construida y reconstruida.
