Adrian Searle escribe sobre el panorama del arte espa\u00f1ol en The Guardian. Parece que la anhelada difusi\u00f3n llega de manera insospechada.<\/p>\n

El repaso de Adrian Searle establece las mismas cuestiones que gravitan siempre sobre el panorama de aqu\u00ed: que porqu\u00e9 los artistas huyen (desde Juan Mu\u00f1oz a Paloma Polo pasando por \u00c1ngela de la Cruz), que si en los ochenta se hicieron museos y centros de arte a golpe de talonario, que si ahora hay un n\u00famero envidiable de instituciones… Tambi\u00e9n cita el Can\u00f2drom de Barcelona y sus situaci\u00f3n de suspense o la megal\u00f3mana ciudad de la cultura de Santiago. Y de la crisis, de que ya no queda dinero. Quiz\u00e1s por eso Manuel Borja-Villel diagnostica la situaci\u00f3n actual: “The party’s over”. <\/p>\n

Aunque de lo que m\u00e1s llama la atenci\u00f3n es la contundente aseveraci\u00f3n de Paloma Polo sobre que “There is no real scene of young artists in Madrid”. Una artista que est\u00e1 entre los que se\u00f1ala Javier Hontoria al final del art\u00edculo como los cinco artistas espa\u00f1oles m\u00e1s destacados (“Spain’s five hottest artists”): Ignasi Aball\u00ed, Dora Garc\u00eda, Lara Alm\u00e1rcegui, David Bestu\u00e9 y Marc Vives y Paloma Polo.<\/p>\n
