While our archives may not boast the grandeur of the Jedi Temple’s historical records, A*DESK has been a consistent presence in the digital publishing realm since 2002. Indeed, we proudly stand as pioneers in the field, and it’s worth acknowledging and reflecting on this fact periodically.<\/p>\n

Our intent is not to indulge in self-praise but to engage in a meaningful year-end exercise. We’ve deemed it necessary to retrospectively revisit our archives, immersing ourselves in the narratives of the past while interpreting them through a contemporary lens. This process is a deliberate attempt to share this journey, inviting new perspectives and insights. To enrich this exploration, we’ve collaborated with Josephine Soundscapes, who drew inspiration from selected editorials and contributed sound proposals\u2014some transcendent, others playful.<\/p>\n

As we share these revisitations, we recognize the importance of continuity and evolution. We’re poised at the threshold of 2024, hopeful that the upcoming year will bring a greater sense of humanity, increased empathy, and fewer dystopias.<\/p>\n
