A*DESK has been offering since 2002 contents about criticism and contemporary art. A*DESK has become consolidated thanks to all those who have believed in the project, all those who have followed us, debating, participating and collaborating. Many people have collaborated with A*DESK, and continue to do so. Their efforts, knowledge and belief in the project are what make it grow internationally. At A*DESK we have also generated work for over one hundred professionals in culture, from small collaborations with reviews and classes, to more prolonged and intense collaborations.

At A*DESK we believe in the need for free and universal access to culture and knowledge. We want to carry on being independent, remaining open to more ideas and opinions. Margot Cuevas – Autor/a en A*Desk

Margot E. Cuevas (Barcelona, 1995) is an art historian and independent curator with a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Art History from the UB. Her practice encompasses research, curation and production, with a particular focus on independent contexts. She has been part of the Bombon Projects team since 2019 and in 2021 founded Raccoon Projects, an independent space in Hospitalet de Llobregat focused on new production and collaborative processes with artists. She has developed projects at La Capella, Sant Andreu Contemporani, Àngels Barcelona, Bombon and Okela, and has curated programmes for SWAB. In 2025, she won the Barcelona Producció curatorial prize, with an exhibition at La Capella in 2026, and in 2027 she will curate the Espai 13 programme at the Fundació Joan Miró.
