A*DESK has been offering since 2002 contents about criticism and contemporary art. A*DESK has become consolidated thanks to all those who have believed in the project, all those who have followed us, debating, participating and collaborating. Many people have collaborated with A*DESK, and continue to do so. Their efforts, knowledge and belief in the project are what make it grow internationally. At A*DESK we have also generated work for over one hundred professionals in culture, from small collaborations with reviews and classes, to more prolonged and intense collaborations.

At A*DESK we believe in the need for free and universal access to culture and knowledge. We want to carry on being independent, remaining open to more ideas and opinions. Vítor Mejuto (Barcelona, 1969) is a painter. He is also a photographer and graphic editor of La Voz de Galicia. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Salamanca in the late 80s and his artistic practice is essentially pictorial. Among his most relevant projects are ‘Pintor en la Corte’ (Formatocomodo, 2018), ‘O livro das Palmeiras’ (Fernando Santos, 2018), ‘Naturales y Sociales’ (Trinta, 2019) and ‘Torreón de tramoya’ (Centro Párraga, 2020). It is also worth mentioning his recent stay in the artistic residency Projeto Fidalga Residência de Sâo Paulo whose exhibition is titled “Copo Americano” and his participation in the collective exhibition on art and design “Drift” at the Naturgy Mac Museum with the work ‘El silabario perdido’.
