ABOUT RO CAMINAL
Ro Caminal is an artist with an educational background in the field of Fine Arts and Anthropology, who works from an indisciplinated approach, in a hybrid space between art and social sciences. She presents her projects as audiovisual researches, generating a knowledge, which she then shares through the exhibition format.
Her artistic practice follows the path of collaborative/participatory production. Sharing, in each project, the power of enunciation with the “other”, constantly confronts her with the dynamics that entails give/maintain agency.
Exploring the world of representation generates a constant search for the common place, where her space and the space of the “other” meet, trying to locate her work in this interstitial space.
Ro lives and works in Barcelona.
